Hey there new to this website but was recommended by a freind i am starting my first grow in a bedroom in a 0.8x0.8x1.8m tent with a 250 w dual spectrum with reflector 4 inch inline centrifugal fan with ducting and eurobarn reflector i will be growing in coco undecided on what size pots and how many plants to do wether i should go for the one in the big pot for first time or 4 in medium sized pots

I will be using some take root
Canna a +b nutes

As i am fresh to all this any tip or help along the way would be a life saver

Will be doin mephisito seeds 1-4 of the following

Sour hound
Chem cify blues
Green crack
Sour bubblin crack m

Also needed some tips on venting as i am growing in a bedroom i can leave bedroom door open 24/7 but was skeptical about having ducting out of windows and no chance of putting in loft would having ducting underneath an open window be suffice t enough with the tent on other sode of room near open door drawing fresh house air into tent As other windows will be open in house

I have no inline fan only using passive vents on tent

Any help is appreciated i will be doing. Grow log starting this thirsday too

Welcome Sharps :welcome:. You have some great strains there buddie. I would go one plant in larger pot to start just to get your space fine tuned and get a little experience. Just my opinion. Look forward to your first journal :pop:

Thanks for the pointers have decided to go with the 1 in a 11L smartpot will flip a coin on the sour hound or chem city blues both look but as get a few under my belt will get used to it im a fast leaner and have always been intruged about growing like ive read the book to ride a bike but never physically done it

is best to plant them straight into the pot will be opting for the 18/6 cycle throughout

When watering the smart pots would it be best to water in a bath when it is still in the light cycle having added nutes and making sure water temp and ph is ok just using bath for drainage

Hey Sharpie,

Oh yews, you have chose wisely. Mephisto rocks. You will not be disappointed. Welcome to the Auto side of life. Just give a shout if you need anything, eP.

I germinate using root riot cubes personally. Ronin has a thread on how he does it and I have had 100% germination rates using his method. https://www.autoflower.org/threads/germination-the-ronin-way.33891/
As far as watering smart pots. I just have mine sitting in catch trays and water till I get a little run off. I don't really ph my run off.
When I water I use an "accurate 8" soil ph probe to get my dry soil ph and then adjust my water/feed solution accordingly. For example, I like my soil ph to swing from 6.0 (wet) to 6.5(dry). My ph always swings up as the pot drys out. So if my dry ph is higher than I want, say 6.9, then I will adjust my water/feed down to 5.9. This is just what I personally do. Other folks have different methods. Hope this helped. Oh, I also us promix hd. If you are using coco you will run different ph numbers than I do. Best to talk to coco guys about that.
