Grow Room Nirvana Northern Lights

Hey man, whats up. Have not stopped by in a few days. She looks great my friend. I love to see that lush green on peoples grows man. :niceshot:

Though, Im not entirely sure. Beginner grower here but, it seems like a tad droppy to me. I only say this, because it makes me concerned that you might of over water a little. Man I really messed up with over watering my first grow, and slightly in the beginning of the second. Hopefully Im just being a noob right now and its fine. :Sharing One:

Cheers my good man.

:vibes:

You may have something there Neko. I've been using a professional moisture gauge to judge moisture of the Coco Loco. It's been giving me a reading of 2 (Dry) out of 10 (Wet). They have a chart for different plant moisture levels. I've been using the tomato moisture level as a guide. They say that the tomato plant needs to be watered when the soil moisture is @ 3-4. I've let Chunky go to to 2 and then water. That's been every other day. The Coco Loco soil bag says that you don't need to water as often. As little as 4-5 days. That seems a bit too long. Going to let her dry out and then get an idea of the SmartPot weight when dry.

All in all she's been very healthy and an ideal looking Indica.

LST of the main cola of Chunky. The rest of the bud sites are just fine as of now. She's 40 days old.

Northern Lights (Chunky) Flowering

Started FLOWER nutrients 5 days ago. LST'd the main cola yesterday. Trying to keep the canopy even and have enough room to give a good stretch in flower.

I've been watering her every 3rd day. Her leaves seem to droop a bit too much, but if I wait till the 4th day to water she's really needs a drink. I don't think I'm over-watering. I've lifted the SmartPot and she's light and no wetness/dampness feel to the SmartPot fabric. Water till I get at least 20% run off. One gallon IN with a 3-4 cup run off. The pH has been fine; 6.3-6.8 (IN) and 6.5-7.0 (OUT).

Day 44; Week 6 Northern Lights aka Chunky

P9080003.jpgP9080001.jpgP9080005.jpg

Chunky in Week 6 from seed. Chunky is drinking a lot of water. She's been taking in 3/4 gallon every 2nd day. Watered her on Monday morning and by Wednesday morning she needs a drink. The SmartPot is light in weight before I give her a drink. I'm worried that I maybe over doing the watering. She seems very healthy. Doing a FEED-WATER-WATER schedule. The pH is fine; 6.3 (IN) 6.5 (OUT). Feed her today; full strength Recipe for Success.

Concerned that her leaves are drooping in the morning before the lights come on. I check her every morning and she's droopy as if she's under watered. Within an hour or two she'll perk up, but she never seems to not to be droopy.

Anyone have this issue with their girls.

Chester, Within an hour of feeding her this morning she perked up. However, every day when the lights come on I check her and she's droopy. I'll wait for her to perk up a bit as the lights seem to put life back into her. On the 2nd day (48 hours) after watering she's droopy and the SmartPot is light in weight. My moisture meter will be giving me a reading of 2 on a scale 0-10. Ten being saturated soil. Maybe I'am being too concerned over nothing. No sign of any real issues. The droopiness has got me worried a little.

She'll start to have a water run off after a slow watering with one gallon of water. After 3/4 of a gallon then she'll give me a run off. The rest of the gallon is just the 20% run off.

I don't think I'd cut back on water ... :Hookah:

Chunky Feeling Better

Chunky was drooping on me the last couple of days. Feed her yesterday and she's bounced back. Don't really know what her issue was. LST the side branches the other day to keep the canopy even. Checked the Coco Loco soil moisture today and the reading was 5. Letting her go into a good wet/dry cycle. It's good to see her being happy again. I also raised the cfls up a few inches; she may have been getting a little hot. Seems to of helped.
