Beautiful trained giants! Slap to you as well! :slap:
Very glad you're doing ok after the storm, definitely might get crappy early here as well...

Was just out back picking tomatoes and snapped a nice pic of my Durban Alien. If it was centered it would have filled the 4x4 box about perfectly.

Never measured it before but the tallest bud is only 23 inches off the ground with most of it under 20. Should keep the neighbors from seeing it over the fence...lol

Ah yes surffreak! I do recall looking at the pics of this grow quite some time ago. LOVE outdoor scrogging/lst!! Looks excellent and having no canopy will give out a ton of buds!! 23" off the ground? that's some heavy training! Well done!

Thanks man! Was a bit worried that I didn't leave enough room underneath the screen at around 8 inches but everything seems fine. Having such a loose sativa structure it breathes easy :)

They may not see it but they gotta be smelling it! I would look like a blood hound walking around the back yard.

Its interesting how different strains smells carry a distance, yet many can barely be smelt from more than a few inches away. And of course so many different smells not associated with weed give it built in stealth(fruity varieties come to mind in that regard). Ive never grown Durban before, what type of stink does she have?

:cools:
The Durban Alien smells like a good sandalwood mixed with anonymous fruit, the alien genetics must be mostly affecting terpenes because it smells nothing like a pure durban but looks nothing like an indica. None of the outdoor plants are very stinky until you rub on them, there is the general lingering smell of a grow though, just doesn't carry very far and is so light that I get used to it 10 seconds after walking out back. The one exception was the blueberry but it's cut down now. Thankfully the closest neighbors right over the fence already know about them and keep an eye out for trespassers when they can. They brew beer and I'm gonna grow them some hops next year in echange for a few 6 packs. :-)
