Hey guys, got big plans for this summer. Got a bunch of strains to grow before I go back to school so figured I could keep a little log and get some advice along the way.

Strains are in a picture below but to list what I ordered (All are AutoFem):

Paradise Vertigo (x5)
Dinafem Critical Jack (x5)
Sweet Seeds Sweet Skunk (x5)
Cream of the Crop Narcotic Kush (x5)
World of Seeds Northern Light x Big Bud (x6)
Delicious La Frutta Di Venus (x6)
Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry (x3)
Dutch Passion Think Different (x7)

I will be growing 3 of each to start plus an extra TD for my brother, so that will be 25 plants. I think that will be enough work for now, hehe :pimp:

First off defaze a big welcome to AFN my friend and enjoy your stay

good luck with your out door run of autos mate , hope they all come good for you and will see you around the boards :smokebuds::peace:

Setup

Since I am way up North (64 degrees), the summer is pretty short so I have to start off the seedlings inside. I built a Rubbermaid stealth grow box. Since the plants will only be inside the box for up to 3 weeks until it is warm outside, I don't need to worry about smell. I have pictures below of the setup.

I used a $2 mylar blanket to line the inside, then used a 3" hole saw to cut holes for all the fans. I used 3 - 80mm computer fans (2 intake, 1 exhaust) wired to a 12VDC power supply from some old device. I got a $15 light bar from home depot and mounted it inside the bin. The lights are 4 CFL's, daylight spectrum at 23W, ~1800 lumens each. I'm still not sure if that is enough light with 100W, but they will be kept 1.5"-2.5" from the plants at all times.

This grow will be all "organic" (as close as it comes) and on as much of a custom, budgeted setup as possible. This is also my first grow, but I am confident the steps I am taking are at least in the right direction.

I germed 15 seeds on May 9, all were planted between May 11-12 (2-3 days germ time in paper towel) using Happy Frog potting soil with a soft watering. I will be planting the remaining seeds today after I check their germination status.

May 13 - First day in soil

By May 14 (Day 5 from seed) all plants had 2 nodes.

* plant labels are all fake to hopefully trick housemates for a couple weeks :joint: *

good stuff! I love set ups that dont take $550 to make happen. I hope you have this well planned out that is a lot of christmas trees to tend to and keep stealth hah

Just mixed up a super soil to compost for the next week or two while the weather warms up.

Soil:

2 bags FFOF
2.5 lbs fish bone meal
2.5 lbs FF bat guano with myco and humic acid
2.5 lbs dried blood
1/8 cup dolomite lime

will add 15 lbs worm castings, 1/8 cup epsom salts, and 1 more bag FFOF by this weekend.

I will layer the bottom 40% of 3gal pots with this soil then put either sunshine #4 or more FFOF to fill them out. Suggestions here?

Have Earth Juice Grow and Bloom and Im still trying to decide how to use these. Also should I get any others like the micro or catalyst or will the soil with some extra nutes be fine?
