Nutes: Comparing cheap vs House and Garden

Here's the thing.. I got 2 going both in 5 gal airpots promix and Stonington blend mixed about 50/50 I was thinking about feeding one the Heavy16 and feeding the other miracle gro tomato food to see if the heavy is actually worth the coin. What you think?

Hell yeah, go for it! Start out light on the nute and work it up till you feel its right. Post it in the lab, two grows makes more documentation!

Seedlings are in pots! I planted 21 Blue Dragon. I've mark 4 plants with tags for the experiment, 2 are tagged: HG and 2 are tagged: Cheap.....lol! I chose the 4 best seedlings and centered them under the light. The rest are in my regular, organic soil.

Ok, here are the contestants and their victims....errr subjects! Plants are labeled according to the nutes they'll get. All are Blue Dragon. Labels are: HG and Cheap..........lol!

Anyone here use House and Garden nutes? I'm certainly NOT impressed after reading the NPK info..... .2% NPK???? it would seem at that level I'd need a bottle a week! We'll see I guess. It would be damn funny if the cheap stuff beat it!

price of the H&G was $33.00 U.S. the other was $2.99 U.S. ................

I tried to order some Drip Clean and a few other items from their lines..... No luck, word is that they are closing down

and at least the drip clean has been vacuumed off the market here in the Netherlands...... So to answer your question, not for want do I not use H&g......Lol
