Live Stoner Chat Potential Bad Ganja Side Effects / Overdose Symptoms / Contra-indications of Ganja with Other Substa

Research the Vasovagal response, and go see your doctor to get cleared of any medical conditions that you may be experiencing. Good luck. :peace:

I always try to relate it to, if you handed cash over a bar, asked for a pint...if you had no description of what product you were getting(maybe lager, maybe a spirit, maybe coke etc), you maybe never would drink again! I agree, indica strains are far less twitchy...heavy sats, can really mess with your head(if you`re not ready for `em)! I really hope you find one that suits you! :peace:

jeez buddy i hope you come across the culprit here. ive never had anyhing more than paranoia hit me.

It is harmless in the fact it cannot kill you or do you real harm. If you are having continuous problems with having "whiteys" then you need to reel in your consumption. It sounds like the real issue here is you need to learn to take a much smaller amount. I'm not trying to insult you at all, but if you are continuing to have these issues then I see some user error in it.

Thanks for your comment Mr Piggy,

Yes, I have heard that lethal dose of Cannabis is something like 25,000 joints smoked in one go, which is not really achievable :-) I used the term "overdose" in a sense of a dose that develops negative symptoms. My post was intended to inform about the potential negative effects as I found in my experience when I changed a vaporizing style and went over the borderline of positive and negative, which I fully admit was my own mistake that I have learnt from.

The second time, however, I had a very mild dose of Cannabis, and the problem started after I took prescription pills (codein/paracetamol and naproxene), and here I tried to warn people of potential contra-indications of Ganja with other meds. It happened to me as I had been led to believe it was 100 % safe to combine Ganja with codein/paracetamol and naproxene (from various posts on internet). I am aware that various people could react in various ways, but for any people new to Cannabis use this could be a good warning sign. After that experience I decided not to combine Cannabis with any other medication anymore.

Thanks Muddy for your lines,

I have been using Northern Lights Blue AF which is said to be indica. I had tried sativas in the past but they were too rushy for me. I have surely learnt few lessons and will apply this new knowledge in my further life steps. :-)

You really shouldn't eat raw canabis anyway thats a mistake. The other thing is unless you know who you bought it from it could have been laced with some bad shit and caused your problems.

Thanks Namvet25,

I only use homegrown stuff, so at least there I need not to worry. I have been reading on juicing/eating raw Cannabis and higher medicinal action of cannabinoids acids such as THCa, CBDa etc, which all should not be psychoactive, but still highly medicinal. The guy who openly talks about this is Dr. William Courtney from California I believe. But the mistake I did I guess is that I ate dried cured bud, which has already decarbolyzed from cannabinoid acids to psychoactive cannabinoids. Strangely enough, I did not need to extract the stuff by any method, just ate it as it was and the trip was very heavy, although totally unexpected.

Hi onenesss, sorry to hear you have had a couple bad experiences with the green, but in the 35 years of partaking in the practice of MJ smoking i have heard this a couple times. The first time i became aware that MJ is not meant for everyone was probly about 1980 or so and me and some friends where hanging out and having a few beers. One of my friends older brother was always the one that was the party pooper and never drank, or smoked with us.. well this one night he decided to have a couple hits from some Acapulco gold i had scored. and within 10 minutes he started having convulsion and nausea, so we took him straight to the hospital.. only to be told by the dr that there are indeed people who have just the right,,or wrong :) chemical make-up that cannot metabolize THC like everyone else.
I am also thinking possibly that the smoke might not have been flushed proper, and your the one in a million that is sensitive to said chemicals. No offense, just an out loud thought :)
I notice that when i am hitting the concentrates a bit heavy that i also develop muscle cramps, at first i thought i was not purging my oil good enough, but i got my hands on some headband earwax from a clinic, and it did the same thing to me.. and i can smoke blunts like no ones buisiness and it not effect me the same way?? weird stuff huh? so i guess what it took me this long to say is, everyone is different in the way that canabis effects us.
I hope you figure it out, so you can get good benefits from it. good luck peace :smokebuds:

Overindulge on cannabis is indeed not deadly, it's more like a roller coaster ride that will stop at some point. Always keep that in mind when you freak out or get paranoia.

There is something else that might be caused by smoking cannabis, it's called cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome.
I had some problems with my digestion/bowels and reducing my cannabis consumption to just a fraction of what I used to had positive effect on my problems.
