I need to Know what size airpots should I get 3 gallon around 14 litres I think or 5 gallon 20 litres I know big is better but these airpots in Canada are crazy expensive would root pouches get me the weight and root ball size that a airpot will get.

When you live where i live you take what you can get. I did not know i could buy such a huge bag of perlite. I got shpagnum Peat moss 3,8 cubic litres 45.00 canadian total I have allot of growing medium. Any suggestions on a ratio? And air pots of root pouches which is better if so.

Well I got some airpots on the way thanks to namevet advice. I could only find one distributor in all of Ontario Canada. It is a UK product. I just need a PH tester I will get one off ebay. Any suggestions on a Meter would be appreciate.

Sounds like ya got some sweet gear rolling in man,Nice!!! if your planning on using Peat solely with perlite, which I personally dont recommend to be honest.I would atleast get a cpl bags of decent soil/coco or a compost type and mix that 80-40 or 70-30 Soil to peat ratio personally.you can go lower but you'll prolly be wanting to grab some Lime.Dolomite,Prilled, either will do just fine.and take your mediumj n mix your perlite accordingly along with a bit of lime to the lot or per container.which you'll prolly wanna mix it all up in one batch to start the Lime breaking down sine peat tends to wobble the PH pretty good sometimes.Sweet looking line up man!!Killer gear, yup bet it'll be a fun grow bro!!:Sharing One:

I have been using promix bx for years and years outdoors but I was told and it is true that vermiculite retains to much water when using led as a light source. I never realized until now that pro mix bx is ph'd with some addtives I thought it was just good ole peat moss and perlite and vermiculite well was I wrong. I need great airation for a lack of a word i cannot find just a perlite base pro mix. If not i might have to get pro mix put more perlite to off set the vermiculite so it will not retain water as much does that sound like that might work. Thank you so much for pointing out that eyes of fire you saved my Bacon.
