This is my first grow since my last journal (which vanished so I wouldn't bother going and looking for it).

My previous experience has been with Photos - now I've decided to get my feet wet with some Auto's, and who else better to go with than some Mephisto genetics.

So far I have 3 Triangle Kush at day 36 today. A Walter White 3 weeks behind, and 2 more I am attempting to crack as we speak. I have some Deep Blue C's on deck, along with the Heisenburgs for the comparative grow that I will get to cracking soon as well.

Im re-using the same batch of organic soil that I mixed up for the previous grow, and I will be supplementing with some of Canna's line along with some organic tea's and MammothP.

So without wasting anyones time talking about shit that no one cares about... Here's some autos!

These are from the last 3 days, from day 33 (the outside pic) to present.

These genetics aren't supposed to show much purpling at all, and even tho I have had some nice temp swings this week due to being outside multiple times and then returning to a 72 degree environment, I don't think I should be seeing some of what I noticed today (although you can't get a good look from the pics I just posted). Im noticing redness on some stems and Im also seeing some damage to the lower leaves, which at first I attributed to being virtually inside the pots and being hit with water during lights on quite often - however now I have a different theory.

I believe I am seeing the onset of a Phosphorous deficiency. This honestly surprises me because this soil is the same batch I used for my previous photo run which I did very well with. Nevertheless, some PK 13/14 will be arriving tomorrow. The next feeding will incorporate a Bloom, plus the PK with an additional Boost and most likely I will also be introducing Mammoth P into the equation also. CO2 is on standby and I may get trigger happy and turn it on then as well.

Nice to see you back on the forum RockCity, we ended up nailing down that we had a small database issue which was causing random journals to up and disappear (intermittent at the time and fixed now,) but unfortunately there were a few more casualties even after yours vanished. All good now though and the site is running faster and more stable than it ever has!

Great looking plants and hope to see more!

So I can put the conspiracy theories to rest?! :woohoo1:

Seriously, thanks for the update tho. It's good to know it shouldn't be happening in the future. Good to see you

Hit them with some neem oil the night before last. This morning they got a nice drink of bloom, boost, pk 13/14, and their first shot of MammothP. I also tossed in some blackstrap molasses.

Right now they are out on the deck basking in the sun

Loverly looking plants bro.

Is the red stem necessarily indicative of demand for nutrients?

Fantastic grow room too, really clean and cool.

Thanks man. I just moved so this space is brand new. I still have work to do but it's serving the purpose right now.

Red stems isn't indicative of a deficiency all the time. If a strain is genetically predisposed to it then it's not unusual to see. Also temps swings to fairly cool numbers can accentuate that as well and bring them out even more.

In this instance however, this strain has no genetic predisposition to show purple at all. There is also additional damage on some of the lower fan leaves which is a sure sign of an issue, be it deficiency or ph related etc.
