OK guys and gals. ....I was given a full size bag of roots organics 707 soil for free from my local grow shop because it had a rip in it. They love me there. But anyways after a little research I see I can start my girls in it and just add water for a few weeks and they grow great. I see others adding nutrients almost immediately....
So I guess I really don't have a plan of action or direction to go? I honestly would like to keep this grow completely organic. Or as close as possible. Im looking specifically for the taste and other properties that come from organics. I've heard great things and this is my chance to incorporate it into my garden at a very low cost lol.
So I have a toofless alien on day 8 today and is in the roots organics living happily. I just have absolutely no plan of action from here. I ordered the 8oz samples of bhudda grow and bloom by the company that makes the soil

but I don't know much about it or how organic it really is. My fabric pot is set and I can't add any amendments. ...so where do I go from here to make sure I get high quality smoke? What do I do to get to harvest organically and NOT have bad airy buds and a super small plant. ...
I really appreciate everyone's help. This is my first organic attempt ever. Pretty excited. ..just not sure how to do things best. ..here's a pic of the toofless alien from just minutes ago.

If you don't want to spend out on a bottled line of organic nutes, you could probably buy cheaply a bag of granular fert and top dress and water it down, although I haven't done so before. Botanicare makes one like that. What about buy some bio bizz bloom and fish mix in qt. bottles? I think it's totally organic and has carbs in it as well, is not expensive either. I think that's what hazy uses. Like you say, it's too late to amend the soil. You could get into brewing teas as well..

Thanks medi! I keep seeing bio buzz pop up and top dressing is a great idea. How I planned to do some outside plants I'd I ever did them....teas I can't really do I don't think. Can't b whipping stuff up in the kitchen. Kids running around and stuff lol

Exactly. Got those here. I want to cook a nice batch of soil this spring but will have to also countermeasure vs. my cat against treating the soil like a litter box and throwing my ratios off. :haha:

Pete you should be good to go for about 4 weeks with just that soil alone, then tea's. I used roots as my base on my last batch of soil and once she started flowering I hit her with a tea, don't make the mistake I did and not dilute the tea, it was too strong and burnt my plant, also if your using Led don't forget the CalMag

Instead of tea in got the sample from aurora themselves of their grow and bloom. 7$ shipping fee only. And my local grow shop is going to give me a nectar of the gods starter kit to try with the soil. Free. I'm not too familiar with teas and have a lot of things in testing and trying currently so I'm just trying to stay in my realm as much as possible and not expand what I already have to do.

Well cool bro, sounds like some great stuff, I'm interested in those Nectar for the Gods nutes as well, have fun and let us know how it goes. :smokeout:
