I need some help figuring this one out.
Blueberry auto about 10 days old.
Soil is a mix of Happy frog, Black gold potting oil, compost and worm castings
(Roughly 50%, 25%, 15%, 10%)
Container size 4.5 gallon
Ph is in the 6.5 - 6.8 range according to the crappy meter I have
RH - unknown
Nutrients given, none yet
Lights, 4 23w CFL's
Temp's, low 80's during the day, mid to low 70's at night.

The first two of this type I tried growing died at a couple of days old, the seed heads wouldn't break open to let the first leaves out and the insides rotted. When I sprouted this one I kept the seed head misted with water and used tweezers to remove the seeds casing or it would have died like the other two.
From the moment it came out it's looked wrong as you can see. I would think it's too young for any nute deficiency's or nute lock. I'm starting to wonder if it's just a old batch of seeds or bad genetics.

:toke: -- yeah, if it was fraggy-looking from day 1, it's just a funky seed,... they are a gamble no way around that,.. breeders burn through scores of them weeding out the weaker looking ones right off the bat! But for those of us who pay $$, it ain't an option! So, let her go for a while yet,.. this color breaking and deformation often fixes itself and may go on to be fine, or show it's a lousy bean and it's up to you then, if she gets composted or rode out regardless,...
