So I’m on day 11 since coming out of the soil . Ive adjusted the light multiple times trying to find the best setting for it and now have it hung where it’s at at 100% , I don’t know if ive overwatered the seedlings and stunted the growth but I haven’t seen much change at all in the last 4 days . They are starting to get yellowish green and drooping not looking healthy at all help me ! Lol

Also , should I consider giving them some nutrients maybe that would help ? I am new to led growing and need help figuring out everything . I have them a tiny bit of this stuff 4 days ago and it didn’t help

@Logandb :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome: That fertilizer will cause you nothing but greif. Anything that is time release will not work well for Autoflowering cannabis. We need more information.

Please fill in this form: (copy and paste part is below, this first one tell what specifically to include)

-Problem: (brief description)
-Medium/grow method: soil; soilless-- coco, or peat based like Promix, etc. (please provide the actual product name); DWC, NFT, etc.
-Feed and supplements used: include brand, dosage/strength, frequency of feeding and watering (alone); method-- by hand, drippers, rercirc' or drain-to-waste,... N-P-K #'s too if you can!
-Water source: RO/DI; tap- dechlorinated-?..... EC or TDS reading; pH (don't bother with this on RO/DI, do bother with TDS/EC though to confirm it's working well enough)
-Strain and age
-Climate: night and day ambient T and RH%; res' temperatures; any extremes in T/RH% exposure
- Light used: HID, LED, COB, combo of,... wattage; light cycle hours (20/4, 18/6 , etc.); distance to tops....
-Additional info: PH in the root zone. How long have the plants been affected?...How fast did symptoms appear?... Anything else you think might be relevant..

--Pictures including WHOLE PLANT PICS, and troubled leaves.. use normal light or flash as other light sources ruin color rendering, critical for diagnostics! Turn off the grow lights.

I water with 5.5 ph and not often. hard to tell if yours are underwatered or overwatered from pics on my phone but I think your ph also to high.

For me, I water in the seed and pot of dry media, slowly, with 150ml of half strength (0.65 ec), nutes, about one week later 50ml watering same 5.5 ph and 0.65 ec nutes, right on top of the tap root, next watering maybe a little shorter and a bit more water.

the tap root is 3 inches on a 2 inch seedling, so if it’s still as or nearly as moist as when you just watered and you water it again, it just gets wetter and they like a moist tap not a wet one

Also, I’m starting in cups now that are slightly larger than solo cups to help me not overwater and be able to correct issues starting out, etc.

Some are a couple months nearly, some under a week. I’ve been starting a new seed every several days now for almost a couple months and I am finally getting the hang of it a bit. I believe ph and soil moisture along with anything less than to much nutes and you (I), should be good.

maybe space out when you start a few seeds and let the first one or 2 be your guide, for wateringand anything else.

Nothing I said here is any sort of fact most likely, but it’s how I’m getting my seedling to finally get off to a decent start with what I have/have used.

also, pretty sure it’s considered a noob tool but using a moisture meter has helped me a little bit. A little cheap single prong one lets you know exactly how dry/moist/wet your soil is once you get a feel for it and can be very helpful to some.

Your doing a fine job keep up what your doing. Take pictures, give as much info about the methods you use and don't be afraid to ask questions. Your in a good place.

I honestly think that I should have planted them in smaller pots then transplanted because I dug down a couple inches and it was compact soil dry as the desert lol . So I’m guessing I didn’t add enough perlite to the mix and the roots just can’t move down past the compact soil and it’s not getting water down there . ? What do y’all think ?

I would only water right on the tap root, Not so much around the pot till the plant is bigger and pink stems always means high ph, for me. If they are underwatered right now I would water 50-100ml, ph 5.5, right on the tap root only 1/4 nutes, if your dirt has none, but I doubt that.

that is assuming they are actually underwatered. You said you went down a couple inches and dry, what about after that? The tap and other roots on those is probably 3” plus and they like moist, not wet.

Hes right..my eye was drawn to yout substrate..it looks kind of odd. They're not too bad and it's early. Still digging roots. At least one looks pretty good. Been doing this years and lost 4 out of 5 ladies.it happens. Drop a couple more if you have em and keep what lives. You can do it. When all else fails smoke a joint and relax its only a plant and only 2 weeks in. Your doing it!:crying::growing::smoker1:
