New Grower Shady's Micro Grove pt.2: Twenty20 in 2022, GreenGro, and Blumats

Welcome back to the grove! This is my third grow and second journal on here. I am actually a few weeks into the grow already, so I will post more than week at a time to catch up.

This time I am trying some new things -- namely Greengro top dressing and Blumats. I am also starting with a more heavily amended soil. I will still use NFTG products to get some additional biostimulants and food if needed.

Setup
Things are pretty much the same as my previous grow:

*Tent*: 20x20x48
*Plants*: Twenty20 Triks and Trizzlers in 3gal fabric pots, 1 Triks or Trizzlers (I got them mixed up!) in a small, solo cup sized container.
*Light*: BudgetLED Series 3+ Full Spec 130
*Nutrients*: Greengro Pridelands Veg/Bloom, Nectar for the Gods
*Microbes etc*: SLF100, Cultured Biologix Teas & Foliar, Microbe Life Photosynthesis+, Fish Sh!t, Big Foot Granular Myco
*Soil*: Reused Nectar for the Gods #4

For the soil, I put the approx. 6 gallons from the previous grow into a tote and added:

I then let it sit for about 3 months, and watered it after I put it in the tote, and once or twice in between. Note that the previous grow I only added about 1 cup of OneShot and no bokashi. A week or two after that it started to increase in temp!

Week 1
Germination / Day 1
Placed seeds in water with a bit of SLF100 and NTFG Zeus Juice. The kelp and humic/fulvic acids in Zeus and enzymes in SLF are supposed to help with germination.

Let them sit for about 30 hours and placed them in the soil.

3 days later and we have life!

Day 5
Slight stretching but things are looking good. Been watering by spraying distilled water when things looked dry until now. Today is the first real watering using Dr. Root and SLF100 @ 6.7 pH
Day 7
First small feeding
Using 1 gallon of filtered tap water:

Also, say hello to my little experimental trizzlers plant! I attempted this grow before but had to unexpectedly leave town, when I came back I found this little girl had popped up, so I transplanted her into that little solo-cup sized planter. Let's see what happens

Week 2
Things are going pretty smoothly so far, both plants growing at about the same rate.

Day 9
First top dress of Pridelands Veg, 1 tbsp each.

Tea with a feed (1/2 gallon filtered tap):

Topped both! First time topping. Hoping it will result in a more even canopy and lessen the height a little.

Week 3
Running into my first issues already! Plants look OK but the soil pH is crazy high! I also started foliar feeding, though I think i messed up the recipe as I am seeing some white salty residue on the leaves. Too much Dr Growth maybe?? Not too many pics this week, guess I forgot .

Slurries so far. I actually took one during the beginning of the grow, but apparently didn't write down the numbers. I remember the pH being in range but the ppms were high, around 1-2k

Distilled water again. Gaia is supposed to help lower the pH of soil due to all the organic acids in it.

Foliar again. Hoping this helps keep things going while the roots are locked out of nutrients.

Week 4
Lots of changes this week, did the first bit of LST and the flower stretch has started! I think I fixed the pH issue from last week, but now I am seeing some signs of N toxicity? Got some dark green leaves and ssome slight clawing going on. The new growth looks fairly good at least. Also starting to really see the differences between the plants. Triks is a bit bushier while Trizzlers is a bit lankier in comparison.

Busy day today.

First I remade foliar. Now with hopefully the right ratios. I also removed the kelp from the autofuel foliar and created a separate one with just kelp and fulvic

Week 5
We are fully in flowering now! Things are looking good this week, new growth looks healthy and happy. Still chugging along with top dressing GreenGro and some light nectar feeds. Wanted to get things looking healthy before I set the blumats up. I also ordered a blumat digital moisture meter so I kind of want to get that before I set it up. Looking back, I wish I set it up sooner, but c'est la vie! This is also my first week trying out Khaos foliar, which I was kind of scared to try out last grow. I think they are responding pretty well to it though.

Spray a small amount of khaos as a test to see how they react.

No negative reaction to the Khaos foliar! I'll start using it about 2x a week until the flowers start to form more.

Top dress to get ready for flowering. I put the silica and the mykos on first, then mixed up the EWC/Compost/Bloom all together and put it on top of the silica.

Week 6
The ladies are looking good so far, they are stretching less and the flowers have started bulkding up a little. Triks is s tarting to show some purple/pink pistil tips, and Trizzlers is showing some frost! Triks also seems to have a lot of pistils, but they are thin, while Trizzlers has less, but they are really thick.

Also.... I finally installed the blumats this week ! The plan now is to do a feed / tea about twice a week and to continue the Pride Lands Bloom top dressing once a week, along with bokashi or EWC when I feel like it. The recommended dose for Pride Lands is 1tbsp/gallon, I am giving 2tbsp to my 3 gallon pots. They say its really hard to overfeed with this stuff, but I figure that will be enough along with the already rich soil, teas, and light feedings. Hopefully we will practically be on cruise control from here on out!

Day 36
Khaos foliar

Blumat setup!
Soil is moist, not dry or damp

Add 1gallon filters tap water + 1/2gallon distilled to reduce ppms and any buildup.
Also added:
