Looking good Smorf! Congrats! Hope those blue berry turpines come out strong, and make for a tasty vape.
Thanks man, i hope theres a nice hint of blueberry taste and smell after dry and cure too. Not expecting too much from a low odor strain but it will still be good smoke no doubt.

I just got my next half gallon pot set up.
Half gallon is 8 cups.
Using 2.5 cups kind soil
4 cups roots original
1 cup ewc
Half tablespoon dolomite lime
Half cup of roots original on top with no ewc or lime mixed in and a rapid rooter in the center.

I will put a shortstuff [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] into a wet paper towel in two or three days so that by the time it pops its tap root it will be time to remove the paper bags that are hanging in the grow box with drying buds and start curing them making room to start my third grow.

Then i will put the seed in the rapid rooter when its shown first sign of taproot and put the half gallon pot into the grow box and get her started.

Awesome grow smorf.
You have inspired me to scale down my containers from 2 gallon buckets to some 2 liter soda bottles. Awesome growing bud.
:slap:
Thanks bud, i look foward to seeing your 2 liter grows. Please tag me when you start.

The only thing i would say about using 2 liter bottles is you will need to make sure to put enough holes in them and maybe cover the sides so when roots hit the side the light doesnt hit them through the clear plastic, not sure if the light would cook them or something like that.
Im a big fan of fabric pots, never used anything else but i feel like the increased airflow leads to more wet/dry cycles and better growth. And you have the airpruning benefits for roots with fabric pots too.
Maybe you could use one gallon fabric pots or try doing a comparison with 2 liter bottles and one gallon fabric pots and see what works best for you.
If i had more grow space i would love to test and compare all kinds of different things.

Im no expert but i figure thats worth mentioning.

I also think that a micro sog with 2 liter bottles would allow you to grow a bunch of micro plants that are one big cola. You could probably do the same thing with fabric pots but the tall/skinny shape of 2 liters would let you get more packed together.
If u could make your own fabric pots the shape of 2 liter bottles that would be cool but the roots would grow into other pots if they are too close lol.
Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the heads up. I put quite a few holes through the bottom inch or so. Wrapped them all up in black tape. I will eventually get around to buying actual pots one day, but until then I just find things around the house and repurpose and reuse. I will hopefully get around to putting a journal together this weekend. I at about a week in right now, had a few fumbles getting this grow together, but so far so good.
