Lighting So it begins, the DIY COB addiction

A couple quick pictures before dinner...Wiring up the cobs later. I was going to install a volt/amp/watt meter and a programmable timer in the box, but I'm holding off on this build. If it works good in a 4x4 ill build another and then install those and daisy chain this one to it.

I've had exactly the same kind of results with DinaFem OG Kush and Sour diesel. Big plants but very little smell and mediocre potency at best
Get you some Mephisto, you'll be happy I promise.

very nice pepe! i got 4 gen 6 1818's 90cri coming Saturday that im gonna start work on! im subbing up to watch and see how growing with cobs are done brotha!:pop::smokeout:
Hows your light doing? How many watts are pushing through yours?
Obviously I haven't posted pictures but I can.
I crossed Mephisto's double grape with dinafems blueberry amnesia XXL. Stongest hardest hitting autos I've grown yet, will literally make you stoned retarded and will induce 1-2 hour naps. Started them under the 1212's but they finished under my Amare 450's 15.5 oz off 3 plants my best total out of 3 plants yet.
I'll post pictures of the ladies under the 1818's, they will stay there till harvest. 300 watts appears to be plenty for a 4 x 4 area

Zamnisia Classic skunks
5 gallon pots
27 days Happy and healthy
Growing quickly, looks like they are loving these 1818's. They have some nice secondaries shooting out.
Been light feeding this past week. 3-5 ml per gallon of FF trio and Botanicare cal/mag

I sheered and bent some more angle aluminum this week and cut out some boxes with a plasma cutter to bend . Think I'm going with more 1818's. Their efficiency at 75 watts is pretty good, I don't think more than 300 watts per 4 x 4 is needed. Find out soon enough as the skunks develop more.
