Good evening everyone!

I'll be a doing a test grow with beans very generously and graciously donated on behalf of @Dinafem-Mark and Dinafem, which I'd like to thank again for the opportunity and privilege!

I have never smoked a high CBD strain before let alone grow one, so this is going to be a very interesting adventure for me! I have two groups in mind that I plan on testing the meds out with, one being my mrs with her fibromyalgia, and the other being a long-time diabetic targeting diabetic nerve pain. We've found certain strains to be particularly better than others when it comes to her fibromyalgia, and one of the best strains we've ever found is actually Dinafem White Widow, both auto and photo form (she actually prefers the auto!) The other strain (in case anyone out there was looking for a recommendation) was Buddha Syrup. Wasn't my cup of tea but she said it worked great for many of her symptoms. Anyway, I digress!

I am by no means a master grower but I've been working on breaking myself of bad habits, much of which I can attribute to the help of several amazing staff and regular members alike. I'm usually very time constrained these days so I agreed to this on the guise that I would make time to properly present a test grow, so bear with me haha!

Without further adieu, a bit of the setup:

The Beans:
x3 feminized Dinafem Industrial Plant CBD Auto
x3 feminized Dinafem Haze Auto CBD

The Tent:
Mars Hydro 4' 9" x 4' 9" x 6' 7" tent

The Grow Light:
Mars Hydro Mars II 1600W 5W LED

The Growing Medium:
Pure coco with a smattering of expanded clay pebbles

The Grow Pots:
Smart pot fabric pots (four 3 gallon pots, not sure when I'm germing the last two just yet.)

The Nutrients:
Grow More Sea Grow 16-16-16
Grow More Sea Grow 4-24-24
General Hydroponics Armor Si Silica
Botanicare CalMag
Recharge Myco

Germination Method:

In just recent past I acquired a bag of Rapid Rooters and have been trying out the @Ronin method to germinate. I've successfully germinated 16 out of 16 seeds using his method. Would never use any other method after using these babies (and so simple, sweet lordy!) I've used paper towel method many times and then recently did nothing but seeds in a cup of water. Had much better success with the cup of water over the paper towels.

But this? Wonderful. Easy. Fairly foolproof.

So here's a start to it anyway! I've actually just potted them up, so let me grab those pictures here and hopefully get a proper update going! Appreciate anyone following along and hope to grow some nice meds!

Sweet! Nice Journal intro! I'm right behind you...root riot party tomorrow ;)

I am experiencing peripheral neuropathy (like diabetic nerve pain) due to a back injury and I have a friend with more serious nerve issues
than myself so that's one of my interests with these. I also want to gift it to some folks suffering from PTSD and Anxiety/Insomnia stuff.

I love this germination method. Cheers and Happy Growing!

Me too. Back disc issues effect whole lower body.
I have two photo CBD at 10 weeks and they are not ripe yet. Shall try to get back with you for my impression. The auto CBD's should be better with ruderalis.

These were taken on March 1st. I kept the root riot cubes covered until they sprouted up and shed their shells, then the lid was removed and they were placed under a 125 true watt CFL (making sure to keep a small layer of water in the bottom of the container, it dries out pretty quickly through the day!)

One of the Industrial Plant CBD's started damping off on me. Stem started shriveling in the middle. I took my huge, gorilla-like butter fingers and managed to fold the root in on itself without breaking it and let it go. The cotyledon's kept greening up (they were pale white before hitting any light) and so I decided to let it ride. Well, it looks like it miiiiight take. I have the space, I'll give it a shot!

March 4th:

I put the seedlings into 3 gallon smart pots of pure coco coir and covered them with plastic solo cups (the kind of translucent, smokey white kind) to serve as humidity domes.

This one below here is the one that damped off, I let this go until March 12th when it finally gave up the ghost.

The other two had some nice little roots coming out by the time it came to planting them.

I decided to germ the last remaining bean for each test strain, I noticed something a bit peculiar coming from the Industrial Plant...
