So im trying to decide on either using soileds or coco. Any brans you guys like in the soiless department? Nothing hot of course should i feed the plants with every watering what should be the ph of the water and nute water?

I've personally always went with promix bx, I tried straight coco and found it finicky, one of the best I've used was a combination of both, heavier on the promix as it has dolomite lime to help stabilize the ph. Hope this helps
Are you growing outside or in?

Itll be indoors under leds 700 watt mars 2s. I really wanted to try coco but all the work just to dry it back out after getting the brick wet seems annoying. I was thinking pro mix hp mixed with light warrior by ff mix in a little more perlite of course and some mykos. Ph.all water to 6.3ish. I like that coco has breathability to it. Is there anything i should do extra by mixing coco with pro mix?

I didn't do anything besides mix it in, I've read things saying 70% promix 30% coco. I've never tried the hp as its more for water retention and I usually do outdoor so I tend to prefer the bx because it dry's out quicker. I cant give any advice on the fox farms as I cant get that in my area.
Ph sounds right

So out of all the positive things ive read about coco used with perlite you guys say it isnt that great? It does seem to good to be true tho.

Botanicare has pre shredded/washed coco, I advise watering it with cal mag before use as it likes to absorb the calcium, making it unavailable to your plants. It is quick but problems can arise quickly as well if your not careful/know what your doing. I highly recommend the mix of promix and coco. It makes it more user friendly and is still very quick.
Hope this helps. Good luck with your babies
