Mephisto Genetics Temp stalling growth?

Bought a small ceramic heater for each tent..one tent up from 71 to 78.9 already.

Should these pick up and grow better once temp are up or are they kinda done for?
They sure should. It may take 2 or 3 days, but you will see a difference.
Really keep an eye on the ceramic heater for the first little while, just to be sure you don't have a real hot spot.
A fan blowing down, that is above the cobs may help scavenge some free heat for ya as well.
keep us posted over the next few days and let us know how it worked. You may help quite a few other folks that stumble across this down the.
cheers and warm thoughts

They will pick up steam, or should. But unfortunately Autos don't always fully have time to recover from stress. You will see faster growth, but the plant may be stunted for good. Don't worry, you fixed the problem and whatever you get you get. Good luck

There you go my man. Stay positive they may turn around, How many days are you at? Pick up a cheap soil probe thermometer. Even when the lights come back on my soil temps is 70 71. All of SINSE'S Suggestions were great. Foam insulation is a big one for me because of winter. I run a heat mat during their first two weeks. Not directly in contact. This should ensure they have a cozy environment and I know the won't drop below the ambient temp of 65 during lights out.

Keep a close eye on the heaters so you know weather to dial back the heat, don't want them to hot. make sure your venation is up to snuff so you can remove the warm air.

Thanks for the suggestions and opinions everyone. The timers came on about 2.5 hours ago and the 4x4 tent is at 74.6 and the 2x4 is at 79.7. The small ceramic heaters are the smallest I could find at 250 watts. I would have liked to get one that has a programmable thermostat, but those were all a bit too big and I thought they would be too close to the plants. I do have my exhaust fans (6" in large tent and 4" in small tent) going as well, so oping this all helps.

Also, I should point out that the basement floor is concrete, but I have some of the gym floor mats down and the tent is on that. The plants are also in saucers with risers so there is some space between the plants and the floor. That said, it's still a very cold floor and a room temp of 64, so hopefully the heaters do the trick.

Sounds like your back on track. Do your self the favor and add some insulation if the mats feel cold to the touch. Hopefully you will see a turnaround.

Heat rises ..... Concrete / cardboard / tent / floor-drip tray / and heated floor mat .... works perfect and even heat and, heat right where you want it ..... soil should not exceed 73-75ish degrees ..... For best results use a thermostat with a soil probe, don’t plant a seed without it ....

Putting small heater in a tent or near a intake vent, mistake, not good, OldBoy flipped up doing that ..... better is a heated floor, we all want heated floors, right .... with a thermostat- MUST HAVE thermostat

Amazon product ASIN B01IDQDCNY
Here’s a smaller mat I use for starts ....Soil probe is oh so important, simply having adjustable mat doesn’t cut it, I wanna know exact and these things are cheap anyways so don’t cheap out and not get the soil, probe, thermostat is like under $20, get it ....

Here’s probe used on starts, second pic ..... I do all starts this way, even vegetables ..... in second pic see prove into starting pot .... I had temp dialed in EXACT - no guess work, exact baby ..... green bowl is humidity maker .... next time I’m going use coco in the bowl, silly me for not thinking of that, anyways always wanting to learn, thus AFN ... Peace!

Thanks..also wanted to clarify that I have the heaters on the same 18/6 timer as the lights, didn't want those running 24/7.
Running the heaters when the lights are off may help a lot. Thats when the tent is coldest. It would really help to keep the soil temp up. I would at least try it once, take some readings in the morn and see if ya like it. Toward the end of flower, it not quite so important to have the heat overnight. You may want a temp change at that point.
cheers

What's the reason yulou dint like the heaters @MrOldBoy ?

I could so a single 48x20 mat in the 2x4 and two side by side in the 4x4 I auppose..just thought the mini heaters would work better...currently between 77 and 80.1 in both tents.
