Well we have now made it to day 72 of this little experiment. Honestly the I still only at the point of worrying about being too close to my lights but there is very little I can do since I am out of room. I keep moving them around a lot to reduce leaf burning and lowered the tent temp to keep more cool air moving up through the canopy. So far i looks like its working OK, I go through this week and do a heavy pruning of fan leaves to open things up as much as possible, I had never really done a lot but decided I din't have a lot of choice if I wanted to keep them cooled down, so far it looks like they liked it. Growth and water uptake are if nothing better than before. Sorry for the lighting and blurriness but some area of the tent are getting pretty tough to get to. As you can see from the main stem pics they have become quite the beasts. Officially they should be in their final week and one of them actually may be, but I think over all they need at least 2 more week for the majority of them to get all the way there.
Att his point I could not be happier with my choice of using Robocop Auto for my first grow and think I will do another as soon as I finish this one to use up my remaining seeds. If I hadn't nutrient locked them for a couple of weeks they would have done even better and as far as I'm concerned they are off the charts now. Also could not be happier with my choice of the Platinum P900 lights either, they were not cheap but they have really done the job.
As long as they haven't been overfed you can get away without a flush. In most cases all you really need in hydro is about 3 days anyway. Perhaps you can you just move them to a different bucket with plain water?
It's been a while since I have checked in and I thought I should probably give a quick update. I cut most of the largest of the 5 girls down about a week ago and after a trim and dry I weighted the results and I am pretty happy. 181gm off not even the entire plant, not bad for a first time and really messing up Veg. It is on jars now to start curing and later in the week I will add Boveda packs to help stabilize. Since I have the opportunity and want to change water anyways I am going to do a flush on the remaining ones for the next week just for shits and giggles.
Looking super dank @Cave Toad! Thanks for the great pictures. How are those girls smelling?
Always keep in mind different strains will have different light sensitivities. Some strains you can get super close to the light and others can get within 2 feet. Just stay in tuned to your girls and raise the light if you see any signs of stress.
@PlatinumLEDTom no doubt about that, in the end i could not get them far enough away no matter what I did so had a few spots that burned. That being said I still could not be happier. With the final cut down I completely filled my 3X4 drying tent and can't wait to get a final dry weight, I would not be at all surprised if the final total hits 1000g. I also pulled a ton of very nice trim, I made a small batch of oil yesterday and it was amazing, just the fumes knocked me out. All of the root balls completely filled their buckets to the water line and the stalks were huge. I have the tent all cleaned out and set up so the next group of 4 will be going in today or tomorrow. sometimes timing just works out in your favor.
