Hi friends
A small snapshot from my breeding partner Max. We picked a really nice pheno of the
(BlueCandy X 90'sBlues) x Forbidden Fruits with a delicious bubble gum taste, he started to make the next fem run .

Hi friends some updates from the pollinated girls. I used a Orange Hill Special male with a strong vigor grow and a nice orange smell.
The main project is to isolate and stabilise the California Orange from DutchPassion, it's the only one with true Orange terps I found in my all my grows. One buddy of my crew found her again and now here we go.
Some points we found out in our observation with the California Orange. It's very feeding sensitive we got over and underfeeding in different environments with different mediums. We also noticed that the Cali o need a longer recovery time after topping before a switch to 12/12. Leaf tucking in flower is also a no-go . Some of you now we visited @Antonio_DutchPassion and talked about that project. We decided to use the Orange Hill Special because it's a cross of California Orange x Orange Bud , with this cross we can go directly to the step to select a male and pollinate a clone of our selected California Orange mother.

That BC x SBC cross looks good, nice colour, I like, did you use the Super Boof as the mother receiving the pollen or as the donator?

I see the first three crosses you mentioned have Blue Candy in her, did you use her as the pollinator?

Yes the BlueCandy is the pollen donator , you are right. The SuperBuffCherry was the mother. We used all the cuts we have tested over the last year's to and pollinate them with the BlueCandy. I really like how the crosses develop in the test one thing I noticed, the original BlueCandy is very sensitive with Cal mag over feeding, the crosses are not so sensitive anymore. I have also seen it in the bx where I used the 90'sBlues from DjShort in the first crosses as a pollen donator. In the hole bx breeding the Cal mag problem is fixed. I am really happy with the hole BlueCandy project and I am really happy that all the sources of the cuts we used are ok with that. I asked all the brands and breeders for their permission, that was very important to me because it's a question of ethic and respect.

I thought so, to give you a tip, then (ofc in my humble opinion haha ) it would be better to write the names the other way around. I'm more an old-school type of breeder and the classic thing with breeders always been to firstly name the mother in the crossing and then the pollen donator ;-) this way we all understand easily what is what...

And yeah man, that's the way to go forward I'm also a big advocate for being straightforward and always give credit to the grower/breeder you've used the genetics from. It's what we all should do to give thanks for each other work imo. Been doing that with all my crosses too

You are right I have to write it the way to name first the mother and then the pollen donator. I will keep a eye on it.

Yeah I really like the BlueCandy project, all the crosses develop so good I am really happy with . After all the photoperiod work with the BlueCandy I am thinking about to make a auto version too but not this year that's for 2027 I think and I have to take look for a autoflower cultivar that fits to the BlueCandy.

I really like the colour and smell of this cross. We only got a very small amount of seeds of this cross but it looks like worth to make more out of it. We will see how the smoke is.
