Mephisto Genetics Trap's First Two 2015 Crosses: SODK x Ripley's & Toof Decay x Fantasmo

Some pics of Sandra on Day 65...

It's really interesting for me when I feel like I've unveiled a rather key bit of understanding...

So in both cases (Sandra and DeeDee) I've administered the SledgeHammer flush to remove the
salts and synth nutes in the soil in preparation for the final cleanse, and this was done as a result
of assessing that it was time due to the orange pistils.

I decided that since I wasn't ambering up quite yet that I would continue on with organic feeds
including the Roots Organic HPK Bloom Booster since the cleanse isn't as crucial with organic nutes.

Well, both plants shot more white pistils directly after this process.

I don't think it's solely due to the efficacy of the organic nutes, I think it also has to do with
"unclogging" the soil with the Sledge prior to that. It makes me think that I should always try to
squeeze in a Sledge prior to the "final push" with organic finishers prior to the water cleanse.
I might shoot for 3 or 4 organic feeds, post-Sledge, each time now (depending on how quickly the
plant intake is decreasing)

I Imagine that a 10 day water-only regimen will suffice after being organic only for a couple days.
The plants really seem to like the seabird shit. and the...

"...langbeinite, a natural source of potassium that is carefully mined from ancient sea beds in the deserts of the American Southwest."

A little ironic, really, since that's my backyard... :)

anyway...on with the pics.

I think today will mark the last organic feed for Sandra and DeeDee has been on water and molasses
only for seven days so I imagine she'll be challenged to the duel in four or five days.

Cheers, Everyone :)

Beautiful work trap , loving her main cola!

Beautiful work trap , loving her main cola!

Thanks, Mitch :)

It's easily the biggest cola I've grown yet....she's a big gal and if I play my cleanse
right, I think I may surpass Mary Kate's yield...at least that's what I'm shooting for. :)

Man, that's a beautiful plant. I hope I get that good someday.

The skill is nothing special...just growing a plant and keeping it between the lines (highway metaphor)

The key is buying the right beans :)

I agree about buying good quality beans but you trapper along with a few others on this site are crazy good. That is a pretty plant.

I wish I could post the smell.... :)

Very interesting nuggets of information Trapper. I've read elsewhere that folks have noticed the white pistils after a flush... It will be interesting to see how your observations develop... Gnarly buds man! RS

Those are just beautiful. Picture perfect too.

Thanks, 1G1P :)

I wish I could post the smell.... :)

Shoot....and I wish I could smell that post lol.

Some damn fine genetics by mitch, and some damn fine growing my trap. If my gear grows into the slight resemblence of that sugar coated beaut. Then Ill be happy. :smokeit:
