Hey guys,
New first time grower here. And a beginner smoker as well. Anyways I'm coming to the end of my sour crack Mephisto. Learned a lot and made some mistakes.
I'm getting ready to harvest. Do I need a trimming tray or can I use a cardboard tray? Any good diy solutions??

Thanks for the help

I trimmed my last buds in my outbuilding over a nasty old table. I did put some papers down first though.

Yeah might do something like that. Couldn't really justify the $60 spent on a trimming tray

I actually got a couple of trays from a friend who worked in a cafeteria. Works great and it was free!

I use the rubbermaid/sterlite clear storage totes mostly for quick trim and getting ready to trim in the bowl trimmer, but also have a TrimBin I'll use if I'm gonna hand trim small amounts.

These things, have you experienced any issues with static? I imagine things clining to that plastic
I've not had any issues with either the kief or plant material sticking to it. In the rubbermaid tote I just tilt to side/tap and all slides to the corner. When I'm done I wipe it out with some iso so I'm ready for the next time. On the TrimBin the little brush does a nice job sweeping into a pile.

Paid $3 for my pink flamingo tray from dollar general. Works great. Dont need yo be anything fancy, just something that works for you
