Updated my “sex” threadmark post, just waiting on both Strawberries N Funk and the two small side by side Strawberry Biscottis. Funny how planting side by side in this instance resulted in such small plants that are maturing seemingly slower, hasn’t been my experience in pots. Here’s the whole crew on day 24. I added my FCe3000 and my 12” Hurricane fan. I can optionally add an autocob if a plant needs it but for now this is the equipment should be about 650w of light maybe more like 600 in reality.

Edit: I’ll add that I trimmed off the lower branching on the chiclets and calibubbas which have been growing those lower side shoots like nuts, the strawberries haven’t been putting as much effort into those lowers. Here is a chiclit before and after. I didn’t remove any nodes just the first branches from nodes so more energy goes up into the tops of the branches

My CaliBubba is not too far behind yours (today is day 25). She looks like maybe gonna have a dozen colas or so. ChicLit is not far behind, but the strawberry girls are a little slower. I guess CaliBubba is first to show sex too, the other 3 strains not quite. I topped all 4 on day 20, and yesterday I trimmed off the node zero branches that looked like they could never reach the canopy. Pardon the lights-on photo.

Having some deficiency crop up in the Calibubba and Chiclit, I tried feeding them epsom salt as a few days ago as I thought it was a magnesium deficiency setting in. Still seems to be present and the fish emulsion I fed simultaneously was clearly too strong based on the burnt tips. Interestingly strawberries N Funk shows neither deficiency nor being over fed. Still waiting on the rear strawberries n funk and the two side by side biscottis to sex out Day 28
Edit: tested soil Ph at 7.19 so it’s time to try and help it lower

Don't worry about the PH of the soil, just be sure your nutrients are PHed to 6.4 -6.7.

4x4 (5x5 if i had it) with a net is needed i think for 8 plants but good thing we have options for growing lol no wrong way to do it.

I'm moving my 8 plants from my 2x4 tent to my 4x4 next week once the plants in there finish drying then i'll set up 2 nets once they start flowering.

Day 28, 4 weeks old today. What a luxury to have them all be the same age for once! Strawberries & Funk, CaliBubba, Strawberry Biscotti, and ChicLit (L to R). I do believe that ChicLit has passed CaliBubba. CaliBubba was first to show pistils:

Day 34 the ladies are hitting a preflower stretch. I really need to trim up the sucker branches again as the Calibubba and Chiclit are bushier than an 80’s porn mag

I peeked in the tent and noticed Calibubba is showing pistils at day 15

I'll take pictures of the other strains and do a week 2 update later today but wow i was not expected pistils until day 21+

Week 2 Report, Day 15 - Strawberry Biscotti Auto, Strawberries n Funk, CaliBubba Auto F2, Chic-lit F5 Auto


All strains but Chic-lit F5 Auto are looking on point and on time, both Chic-lit's just look a little small compared to the rest of the gang in the tent. The biggest strain is CaliBubba Auto F2 <--(also she is showing sex today) with Strawberries n Funk in 2nd place, 3rd place goes to Strawberry Biscotti Auto.

I fed everyone 4g of megacrop today for the 1st time, up till today i had been feeding 3-3.3g per gallon of my tap, for good measure i tested 4g with my water and it comes out to around 600-750ppm (my 3 ppm meters are a little off) my tap is around 250-300ppm so i may increase the megacrop to 4.5-5g next week, i like to feed my plants 600ppm megacrop without tap ppm 90% of the grow with great results so that is what I'll do.

My 4x4 tent is almost ready so next week you will see the plants in a bigger tent with the autopot system hooked up and turned on, up to this point i have just been manually feeding into the trays which works just fine but i want to be lazy and let gravity do the work lol
