Lighting Viparspectra 900w to cob conversion.

Just breezing through and saw the viperspectra so i took a peak. This was a 300watt that I converted but I didn't use the existing drivers. I mounted a mean well on top and im running two 1825s @ over 2amps each. Not sure this will help but BigSmo is definitely the guy to talk to.

Yeah well, this is the second time he has brushed me off. He was a pretty good guy until he started selling his light systems. I told him way earlier that I was going to purchase a Timber set up through Dan and he was all for it, maybe he's angry that I didn't buy from him, I don't know... Either way, I am not completely helpless and will eventually figure this out by myself. I don't deal well with those type of folks that get a little attention and then think they're rock stars or something. Dan at Timber, on the other hand, is truly the real unsung hero. Suck it @BigSm0.

Plenty of good people jumped in to help you out here. People do have lives outside of this forum. They get busy, work, have other obligations, etc. Your attack on @BigSm0 is unfounded and reprehensible!
I don't think there are many people here on this forum willing to offer pages and pages worth of information like I have. Surely not your hero. I do this and will continue to help as many people as possible despite what light they choose to buy or build. I draw the line when I feel like I have been used or lied to. I spent hours and hours replying to your pm's helping you understand the benefits of cobs. I even offered to help you build your viper spectra no matter which brand you chose. Only when you made a second account to get more info did I draw the line with a genuine best of luck comment.

@BigSm0 that is be the most unfounded accusation I've heard in a while. This is a perfect example of the instant information era. You almost have to respond immediately. I wouldn't worry about it BigSmo you helped me out tremendously when I first hacked that Kind K3 and K5 and I see you all over this website helping out countless people. If you don't hit the like button in 15 minutes I'm gonna be upset

I have but not by itself start to finish. I started a few with just this light and then ran it in conjunction with another DIY light I made called the chandelier. The vipar has two 1825s @2amps each while the chandelier has four 1818s @1.05amps each.
