Jean-O's Voodoo and the Duke

I'm getting four of Jeano's beans growing. 2 Voodoos and 2 Dukes, each in 5 gallon coco because I like giant plants.

So far my buying experience with @Jean-O had been great. Good communication, and my the Dukes were in a freebie pack. The seeds are fat and sprout very quickly.

Here are the Voodoos at around 24 days

I'm surprised at how uniform they look. Kind of bushy, wish they were taller.

Here is The Duke at day 15.

Nice wide indica leaves. The other Duke just sprouted.

They share a grown space with a monstrous AvT by Mephisto, all in 5 gallon of coco. Did I mention I like big plants? Lol.

Day 44 for the voodoo. Since both voodoo plants were so uniform, one voodoo was schwazzed, the other just regular defoliation to observe the effects. I hope they're good smoke cuz normally by now Id normally see some minor trick development on the leaves. We'll see though. Trying by best to get at least 6 oz dry each.

Voodoo day 58 and 60. One has been schwazzed, resulting in a slightly smaller plant but full of buds, while the other one that got a normal defoliation is larger with smaller buds.

The Duke Day 50, just barely started preflower. Looks like she'll be a large plant.

Voodoo day 64 and 66. Looks like the schwazzed one will finish earlier, since many pistils already turned orange, while the other plant is larger and pistils are still white. Even this early it looks like I won't be schwazzing again since all it seems to do is help the plant finish faster while reducing the yield.
However, both voodoo so far look like they're producing very high quality buds. The trichomes have huge bulbous heads, similar to the trichomes of the landrace sativa's I used to grow, and judging from the thin leaves I'm expecting some very sativa smoke. The smell is sweet, but at this early I can't define anything out of this sweetness

Voodoo day 84 and 86. Maybe 10 more days. Wish they were a little bigger but it's probably my fault, I let them sit in their runoff for too long the roots probably got some rot, I'm running another voodoo for the grow-off so this time I'll do her justice... But mannnn she is . Pungently fruity, full of large head trichs.

Both in 5 gallon pots. The schwazzed plant seems to have denser buds, more compact in stature, way less larf, and probably will finish faster as well. The other has looser buds but the plant is wider. Because of that I ended up schwazzing both of the Duke.

The Duke one around day 75, the other day 60. Strong rotten fruit terp. Very sticky.

My lights wattage decreased from 1000w led to 600w cuz the Chinese company I'm trying to get warranty from is on holiday due to Chinese new year so I had to wait till February to get a replacement part. On one hand I'm pissed off, thankfully I have on hand 600w worth of backup lighting, but it's bullshit that I have to wait that long. Without the backup lighting my plants would have been screwed. What I get for ordering shit from Alibaba but I got it for really cheap so I can't complain.

Ended up taking apart my LED, bought some wirings and fixed it myself. Got it to work. Which is great because now it's no longer Chinese holiday and that dummy on Alibaba is still screwing around, if I had waited for him to honor the warranty I'll never get my light to work.

Update. Harvested the a Voodoo at day 98, got almost 5 oz, no larf. Due to schwazzing it has almost zero larf. The high has literally no stone, but gives you a zap of energy to move around and get things done. Possibly anxiety inducing at large doses. Specialized high not for everyone, I imagine indica lovers won't enjoy this. Me as a huge sativa fan, I love it for reading and doing chores. Might make you tired at the end though but a puff and you'll be right back.
Con about Voodoo is compared to other JeanO strains it a bit small, but out of coco you can get excellent yields. The Voodoo sister is at day 103 (too lazy to harvest) looks like she might hit 5-6oz.

The Duke day 79:

The Duke Day 94, I'm thinking this one might go 110 days.

Didn't grow these two as well as I should. Too much nutes (phosphorus) that might be why their leaves are dark. Very frosty though, ripened fruit aroma. JeanO doing excellent work with his genetics.
