weird spotting on week old seedlin

I use one of those 15 gallon plastic tubs to re-hydrate a block of coco coir. It will take one 5 gallon bucket of tap water, and three tablespoons of epsom salt. It needs to be tap water for the mineral content. This and the epsom salt will let the coco precharge before adding nutrients. PH adjust to a 5.5 or so. Mix the epsom salt into the 5 gallons and pour about one gallon over the top of the block quickly. It will take about 15min for the coco to suck it up. Reach below the coco block and flip the entire thing after it has absorbed that first gallon. Then you will pour about one gallon slowly onto the center of the block every 15 minutes. After this is done let it sit over night or all day. You now have a full block ready to be hand fluffed and used.

Fluff and mix that batch to break up and aerate the mix. You should have exactly 15 gallons of coco. This is also why I like the three gallon pots. You will get five incredible plants. Add this fluffy medium into the grow bags and place a dry seed in the center of each pot about a 1/2 inch below the soil line. Sprinkle a little bit of mycos containing product at time of sowing. Add about a 1/4 cup ph adjusted water and sit back. It will be up in about 3-7 days on average. Once it sprouts you need to start feeding. Hit it with about a 1/2 cup nutrient solution at a 400 if your water is below a 100. If you have hard water like me, 440, then go for a 700 or so. Up the watering slowly while decreasing the frequency. This is to stimulate the roots to spread out and let the coco dry somewhat. By the time they are a month old they should be good sized. Then water based on when they fell light upon lifting. That is when you need to have run off occurring. They will need water every 1-4 days by this point.

Oh yeah, get some mesquite rings and break them up. then sprinkle about a tablespoon on top of each pot. The bacteria inside of the rings that eat mosquito larvae also eat fungus gnat larvae. Apply this once a month and save those roots.

The reason I do not do the paper towel sprout is, I do not want the risk of damaging it. I also think soaking it pushes out all the air and slows the plant. Just my technique I have developed. Works every time for me and others who have taken it up.

O wow thanks alot for taking the time to write alll that information down.

Ill be just growing one plant for my medical needs of anxiety and i was curious if you knew about any high cbd containing plants?

I dont have any Epsom salt just cal mag plus will that work ok for the precharge? Also im kinda nervious about using my tap water its ppms are in the middle 300 and i dont know whats in it. Any thoughts? I have plenty of ro wster ppm of 14-17

The cali-mag will do fine. You have to start with the tap water. I recommend tap water the entire time for coco. It lets the large calcium groups present in hard water to be absorbed by the coco. Then the small chelate calcium is free to be uptaken by the plant. If you use ro you need to add a 1/4 teaspoon cali-mag per gallon every time. My water is 440 something and I do DWC and coco to put most to shame. I live in California, there are many growers in my parts. Glad to help you.

I have recently grown blue diesel by advanced seeds and that shit is excellent. It has a high cbd content and very pleasant upbeat high. The smell and taste are one of the best I have ever smoked. Petroleum and fruity/earthy, sort of like a German Riesling. It has had about three days of cure after dry and is noticeable better.
