weird spotting on week old seedlin

Ya im running a mars 2 900. Keep it a foot away no more no less at all times? Fyi i will never buy a mars again. Worst customer service and it came to me broke

What are your techniques with mykos? I use mykos by xtreme gardening. Can u actually water them in? How much if so? I read somewhere they only work if their in contact with the roots

They work best if a tiny bit is mixed through out the coco before sowing the seed, and a pinch around the seed. If you have not added it from the start you can water it in. I would make a slurry and pour it onto the root ball. They will activate when they make it down to the roots. I would bring that light down to six inches and see how she does.

When you ph adjust your water with or without nutes how long do you let it sit before addining to your girls? I was told 3 -6 hours or as little as 15mins

So for seedling six inches is ok from the light? Theres a fountain of knowledge here thank you for your time. Also with tap water do you let it sit out before adding it to your plant to let the chlorine evaporate?

Waiting is counter productive. When water comes blasting out of the faucet it is charged full of oxygen from its trip. If you let it sit for awhile it will out gas. Those are the little bubbles a sealed bottle of tap water develop inside. The plants love that stuff. Everyone is way too paranoid about chlorine. If it were that effective against soil microbes, they would all be extinct. Chlorine is all over nowadays.

That is not sound advice. You will starve those seedlings to death. That is why expert coco growers like myself, precharge coco when reconstituting it from a dry block.

It's generally the start of week two that you start feeding, but can be as early as 1 1/2 weeks. The cotyledons (seed leaves - the very first that show) will begin to yellow and die off as the seedling uses the nutrients it contains for it's initial growth. When you see them yellow you can start feeding. I generally start about 1/4 strength and work my way up from there. Gradual changes to the media are better for the plant.

While I understand your passion, your way isn't always the only way.
Also when someone calls them self an "expert" to prove a point, I stay away from those people. Might want to pat your back less often if your going to slam another advise.
