Strains
- (5) White Crack - 5 out of 5 sprouted and above soil

Tent:
60' x 60' x 80"

Light:
(2) HLG 320W XL v2

Schedule:
20/4

Medium:
- Mother Earth Coco with perlite 70/30 mix

Nutrients:
- Mega Crop, Sweet Candy, Cali-Magic
Nutrients will be switched to DynaGro next week as I am not a huge fan of MegaCrop due to repeated issues on multiple grows, most likely my fault.

Pots:
- (5) Autopots Smartpot XL folded over for about 3 gallons of medium

Day 7 | 76-ish F | 70% RH | Lights = Fully dimmed @ 42" = 10,000 Lux/150 PPFD

Nutrients: (Pre-moistened coco with the following) they have had a couple light waterings since sprout.

Cali-Magic = 0.25 ml / gal
Mega Crop = 2g / gal
Sweet Candy = 1 g / gal

Second run with these Autopots, first run was a learning experience but all went really well in the end. 9 autos yielded over 2lbs. Hoping for similar results with 5 plants since they will have more room for growth and light.

Hey @MANNIK - when you say "Pre-moistened coco with the following..." how much water mix did you actually apply to each 3 gal pot to acheive sacisfactory pre-moistening - and then how long did you let the pots sit so that they stabilize ready for the seeds to be placed in? Also I suspect you pH'd the water mix to ~pH 6.0 when pre-moistening the pots? I'm at tghe stage where I'm about to soak my seeds, so am wanting to ensure I prep my 3 gal pots correctly so that I do not over wet the 70/30 coco/perlite mix for the newly germinated seeds once ready.

Any advice on prepping the pots and moisture requirements for initial germination and 1st 3/4 weeks of growth while waiting for the autopots to be enabled - greatly apprecaited.

Great questions
Hey @MANNIK
-how much water mix did you actually apply to each 3 gal pot to achieve satisfactory pre-moistening
Depends on your coco mix (I find that 1.25-1.5 liters of water per gallon of coco using a 70/30 coco/perlite mix. It is hard to over water due to the great drainage.

-how long did you let the pots sit so that they stabilize ready for the seeds to be placed in?
I make my pots the same day I start germinating my seeds. This way they sit in my tent with lights on getting to temperature and drying out just a little bit.

I suspect you pH'd the water mix to ~pH 6.0 when pre-moistening the pots?

Water is always PH'd I start @ 5.8 for seedlings in coco and let it drift to 6.0 and back down. A small range is good for nutrient uptake.

As I mentioned above, make your pots and pre moisten when you start your germination process, this will allow the pots to stabilize to the environment.
I learned really quick on my first run with coco to not treat it like soil, they love frequent watering. If the top of the coco is dry then you will need to water. with light nutes to start water to just a little bit of runoff.
When the leaves touch the edge of the pots you can turn on your AutoPots. I suggest to start with a small res (couple gallons depending on res size) for the first fill so that if you need to adjust it is only a small amount of waste and/or hassle.

I am not an expert by any means and can only attest to one run with coco and AutoPots so please take my advise as such.
You can check out the grow here that covers most of the first weeks. https://www.autoflower.org/threads/mephisto-reserva-autopot-run-1.79704/

Day 14 | 76-ish F | 60% RH | Lights = 125w each @ 32" = 15,000 Lux/218 PPFD

Nutrients: Res is half full with new nutes

Cali-Magic = 200 PPM
Dyna_Gro Foliage pro = 350 PPM
Dyna-Gro ProTekt = 10 PPM

Really feeling the start of this run compared to the first one, I was able to get the AutoPots on at day 14 instead of 21. That is a significant boost. Now is hopefully time for the crazy growth.

I will be training these plants as they fill out to maximize space. Hoping for some good and bushy girls!

Looking good by all accounts :cooldance:

Have you swapped base nutes?
Yes, base nutes are swapped. I do not have good luck with Megacrop in the long run, usually in the form of deficiencies etc...

I finished my last run with Dyna-Gro due to a recommendation and it went well. I am giving them the full run this time and only used Megacrop for a precharge and first couple waterings since it is mild enough for seedlings.

White crack! One of my favorites. Top 3. I got two seeds left from 2019 I'm about to breed I guess. I can't get anymore.if they had a sale between then and now I missed it like normal lol. Will be tagging along for sure. I had 3 different phenos. Average rosin press 24 percent. I'm here to see the beauty unfold. Happy growing

Day 18 | 76-ish F | 60% RH | Lights = 125w each @ 32" = 15,000 Lux/218 PPFD

Nutrients: Still on first first half fill of nutes

Cali-Magic = 200 PPM
Dyna_Gro Foliage pro = 350 PPM
Dyna-Gro ProTekt = 10 PPM

The girls love the Autopots, they have really started to take off. 4 days of growth looks great. They are filling out well.

had a minor Magnesium deficiency but a foliar application of Epsom salt water nipped that in the ass.

Day 21 | 76-ish F | 60% RH | Lights = 125w each @ 32" = 15,000 Lux/218 PPFD

Nutrients: Refilled the res today.

Cali-Magic = 200 PPM
Dyna_Gro Foliage pro = 390 PPM
Dyna-Gro ProTekt = 10 PPM

Plenty of new growth, the girls are filling out now. Looking good for 3 weeks old, now we wait for the explosive growth and stretching from here out. They are getting a good dose of Grow nutes so I hope to prolong the flower cycle a little bit.

I have begun minor leaf tucking to encourage side growth.

Magnesium deficiency is not progressing but I may have a PH issue in a pot or two. New growth is twisting/curling a little bit. This has been known to happen at times of rapid growth as well. Will be monitoring for further signs of stress in hopes to correct quickly.

It is hard to tell from pics at times but any suggestions are more than welcome.

Day 27 | 76-ish F | 60% RH | Lights = 150w each @ 32" = 20,000 Lux/291 PPFD

Nutrients:

Cali-Magic = 200 PPM
Dyna_Gro Foliage pro = 390 PPM
Dyna-Gro ProTekt = 10 PPM

The growth explosion has started! Girls are looking good and filling out well.

They took the nutrient increase a little hard as there is some clawing but it appears to be manageable.
