Live Stoner Chat Why is cannabis Illegal?

$$$$$$$$$
when things are too good they are suppressed, MJ, Free energy, ect
there are alot of things at are not available to the public just for the simple fact its not profitable!"Swivel"

MJ could easly be a trillion dollar industry just from all the products it can produce, but in doing so it would put alot of BIG WIGs out of business in the process.

Isn't it something to do with textile industry argument then the propaganda started....'marijuana' etc etc......

I thought I would just post this since if I were to answer it would go from the pre WWII big business, greed, and nixons attck on the only thing he could attck on the hippies he frigin hated so much of the unpopular war.But this says most of what we think imho.Enjoy the vid.

Power + Special Interestes, to sum it up in a simple equation.

Newspaper tycoons owning lumber mills, which hemp paper would have crippled.
Increasing Government demand for money, easily obtained under the guise of "Keeping the streets safe for our children".
An easy way to incarcerate large numbers of people who have proven disobediance against growing tyranny.
Private, for profit prisons generating jobs, and revenues regardless of the state of the economy, thanks to rapid incarcerations.
Pharmasutical giants fearing the reality of a free alternative to their overpriced manufactured compounds.

There is big money flying around, which cannabis can threaten. Fortunately for them, politicians need money to run their campaigns. Somewhere along the way, people found out that if you throw enough money at people, they start to believe the same things that you do... who would have thought!?

But at the end of the day, the root of it all comes down to economics. Economics can be described as the science of scarcity. Things that are scarce, have value. Scarcity makes it all go around.

Cannabis and hemp have the capacity to provide in abundance. Medicine, Recreation, Clothes, Food, Energy. All in abundance...

Thats just bad for business....
That would mean that an entire world would no longer willingly enslave themselves to $$$$$

Hence prohibition

I agree completely with the money aspect. It's far more profitable being illegal. Imagine if everyone had the right to grow their own cannabis in their backyards and homes. No real money to be made off the buds themselves. No heavy distribution. It would simply be a crop valued around the same rate as vegetables in the garden. The demand would drop considerably as it would be available in excess. You would literally see bud and seed prices plummet overnight. It's an over valued crop and the government loves it that way. The market gets flooded with Illegal cash and the banks keep on printing. You have your prison systems that will lose out badly as well

I have more thought's I'd like to express. I'm just far too stoned and tired at the moment to remember the entirety of them.

I'm sure someone will cover them for me!

Anyways, keeps the thoughts a coming
