He just had an operation to remove an avocado stone from his guts hence the satellite dish on his neck. Cats are okay but I do prefer dogs. Saying that I have a cat, a dog, a turtle and a tortoise!!!

I keep moving them closer until I see signs of heat/light stress, usually white spots on the leaves, then I back out a bit, remove the bleached leaf and watch for new ones. When no new ones show within 2 days, you have your idea height.
I usually start anywhere between one and two feet away. They're great lights!
