Grow Mediums witchy's Little Paradise, all hydro, all the time!

Unfortunately, so far I don't like it. The handle scares me as something that may break with the strength it takes to grind the herb. I turned it by the arm instead, and didn't feel 100% sturdy that way either. Let's see, I may be totally wrong. Time will tell.

This centre screw is the weak link witch.

Mine is a kannastor one, the handle engages with the winder purely by friction, if the herb is to tough the handles spins without driving anything. I improved mine by creating an interference fit and chemical bonding. (That's engineering talk for, crushing the handle onto the grinder and filling it with glue!).

Yes.

I don't screw the lid down straight away. I crank it with the lid just held on to break up the buds a bit, then screw it half way and crank it, then screw it all the way to finish off.
