Dutch Passion Zaaboot has a go at Trichomes & Cream alongside a Mimosa Punch

Hello all - back again for a little update, after the bending of the Burj, I decided to cut it of entirely, it was just getting in the way - sure, there wont be a nice long cola to look at, but the rest of the plant will benefit, and looking at her now she is preparing for war - the team at the Mimosa Inn are getting their spears at the ready. It is nuts just how many long branches that are looking like will give out some serious buddage...impressive, albeit unruly!
On the other side, the Trichomes & Cream has been overshadowed sadly - with hindsight being as accurate as it is - I am sure I would have done better with just two plants this run, they would have easily filled the space out by themselves. Once again, as mentioned she is living up to her name - a serious sugar coating for something still in its infancy, and plenty of time left for her to fatten up.

Temps, EC, PH have not changed for a while now 23-25.5, 1.6 & 6 respectively.

The Mimosa now residing over two levels

As you can see with her, she needs a good defoliation, but it is impossible, so I do what I can, today I had to take a couiple of branches of just to make sure air is moving around her and when I can get a leaf it does come off - so hoping over the next week or two she will have had most of that foliage removed.

Thats it for now - cheers for dropping in :pass:
take care!

I think I may have done the same thing and chopped her top off, bro, as it looked like she was fox tailing so may have been to close to the light or those higher branches, have you got a fan blowing directly on them by any chance? :d5: but besides that I think your gonna get a great little harvest there my friend

have you got a fan blowing directly on them by any chance?
had to be done @St. Tom - as they say, "for the greater good" :crying: either way, she is beastly, taking up as much space as is offered to her.

currently there are 23 fans running 24/7, 1 at canopy, 1 at Mimosa canopy, and one under - I do need one more over the other side really, but I have made it hard on myself with the shape of the lung room.

great little harvest there my friend
Thanks St! Appreciated :pass:

hahahah well shit the bed :crying: just realised, it should obviously say I have 3 fans running not 23 :crying:

Coming along nicely - the Mimosa is packing out her spears now, I will sadly have to remove one or two lower branches completely - once agaon for the greater good. She really caught me of guard. Good girl, that will teach me to be complacent.

The T&C and is getting fatter and her buds are forming nicely - the sugar fairy is still paying her nightly visits so all is well. No changes on any of the stats EC PH, temps all exactly the same

Happy thus far, getting more and more concerned with mold as the temperature has suddenly spiked outside and along it bought some very humid conditions which will seep their way through the lung room to the tent eventually. at the moment it is sitting circa 30-35% which is more than fine, but it will climb and with this much shrubbery in the garden things are going to have to be looked at carefully every morning to keep an eye out for nasties

Thats me lot - cheers all

Day 76
Hey hey - how goes everyone?

The T&C is coming to her end, maybe another 10 days or so - she is an exceptional Trichome covering, really impressive, it is a shame allowed her to get drowned by her sister. The MImosa is filling out now, I have had to remove 10 or so branches to improve airflow, and to be fair you would never have guessed it had even been touched - she has so much 'plant'.

Heavy drinking going on, the last few days I have added 15litres to the res each morning - and the nutes are just bloom A&B - the PH keeps going down, a couple of mornings now it has been closer to 5 than 6, random for sure but I can't figure out why.

I really enjoyed that read from the start @Zaaboot
I was well shocked at the torture during the early days, but WOW how they took off after that is amazing. The Trichome is SO DAMN GREASY!
Good luck with the finish, and thanks for such an informative journal!

Couldn't agree more with @Teetee
Your Auto Trichome & Cream surely looks amazing! Bud porn all the way
I hope the Auto Mimosa Punch will start stacking soon too, she seems a bit airy still. How is the aroma so far?

Keep it up bro!:d5:

hey there @Teetee thank you for the slap sir - appreciated! Don't know what it is but I can't keep my hands of the ladies, I put it down to many years of hardcore scrogging with Photo plants, it feels weird not torturing the ladies when they are young. With Dutch Passion as well as I have seen your grow, they can get big so I was trying to tame her early on, but there is no doubt she beat me :pass:

Thanks @Antonio_DutchPassion = the T*C is truly epic, I thought the sugar fairy had complete her task, but she keeps coming - every morning the first thing is to check her to make sure the 'white' is not mould, she is covered. The Mimosa is filling out ok, as you can see she is on two layers as the back half broke free of her ties. The front half/lower half is decent buds that are pretty solid and building out nicely, the top half does seem airy, but she has a long way to go I think. For me I feel she is behaving a lot like your Auto Mazar, in her structure and growth patterns - the Mazar went about 3 weeks longer than expected but ended up being the best Auto producer I have had so far, this said I do get the feeling the top will go directly in to making hash and the bottom half will be trimmed up and grove bagged.

This is a bud from the bottom half - very respectable and will fill out completely, there are loads of them along the bottom that are going well.

Hello All - just a quickie today, I pulled one of the plants allowing me to open up the T&C and the Mimosa a little.
And now that has gone, I added a little PK9-18 to the res just for a little helping hand. Other than that everything is going along nicely

Now you can really see the girth of the Mimosa, and the branches I bent down on teh T&C

Still a while on the Mimosa, lots of swelling to do - the T&C is really just swelling a bit more and I can see her being done in a couple of weeks tops

cheers for popping in

I recon your gonna have a huge stash of buds from these girls and I know I've said it before trichomes and cream is the bomb it's so good I grew it again :smoking:anyhow bro keep doing ya thing as ya smashing it

hey @St. Tom - how are you sir? Hope all is well - watching Alfie grow is nuts, from mini to big in as long as it takes to grow out an auto or two.

The T&C just looks and smells amazing, really impressive - a bit of a shame she was shadowed by her Triffid of a sister throughout the grow, but nonetheless she is all bagged up and drying now and I was pleasantly surprised at what was hiding behind the foliage. Along with the Predator, she certainly looks like a plant that I will grow more than once. :pass:
