I'm having trouble pulling the trigger on my first low end LED setup. Heat is a factor and currently leaning towards LED to battle the upcoming summer. My tent is small and in a closet but vents directly into the attic via a 6" vortec 460CFM fan in which i used passive or active intake depending on how bad the temp gets. Im pretty stable around 84 degrees with 193 watts of t5 about 3 inches from the plants.

Tent is 36x20x63 so the rectangle shape of the reflector is real appealing but having 2 different LEDs I would be able to move around more and adjust would be great. Im just not sure which one is going to produce less heat. I aim to grow 1-2 plants max and or 1 plant scrogged out.

Any tips/opinions would be much appreciated.

temp dif between 2x300 and reflector wont be more than +/- 2 degrees.
adjustability 2 is better than 1.total watts 2 beats the 1 again.price 2 losses out to 1 i think.performance 2 probably beats the 1.
i have a space just a tad bigger than yours.i looked at 2x48 or 1x96 as im a lazy shite i went 1x96 was also a smidge cheaper.if i was back in the same situation i think id go for 2 smaller lights over 1 larger light.
but 2x300 v 1x96 reflector isnt a fair fight.

Thanks man appreciate your input. Just realized I could even add a 3rd 300 watt if temps allowed. More flexibility it is!

Yeah those 300's are decent I have had some decent grows using them.. And you can later convert them to COB's if you wanted
