Lighting Advantages to 24/0 light cycle for Auto's

24/0 is a very useful tool for combating cold winter temperatures, especially in basements that would cost great deal to heat with conventional methods. Electricity is very cheap in the winter, during off-peak hours as well. My plants are happy, and lush. If running 24/0 I would highly advise regular foliar spraying (Raise he lights!), more frequent waterings, and higher strength feedings. Silica and Bennies will also help alot.

As the poster above me also mentioned, I have noticed zero stretching, and beautifully tight node spacing. I have been aggressively using LST, and the lack of stretch has helped the training considerably. I am anticipating fantastic results.

24/0 in Winter, 18/6 in the summer, for me. Maintaining your environment is hands down the most important aspect of a healthy garden, and takes priority IMO.

I think anybody's set up that can have a 5oc drop in temps in the dark period, then 20-4 would be perfect as the sleep would benefit them. My temps would go through the floor if I switched them off. Growing in a conservatory :-) Don't spray the leaves at all. Just bio bizz grow and bloom. Some auto's can handle a lot more feed than most think... I will try and add a photo of them on here of them at 50 days on 24-0. Will take it now etc, bk soon. lol

Photo's of 1 dp automazar and 1 dp td after 7 weeks from germination on 24-0. Not stretched at all like previous plants so have remained a reasonable distance from the leds, whilst still being big plants and most importantly maintaining good health.

Edited...

Almost forgot. They are under 2 helios pro2's as side lighting and in the centre they have ms0006. Awesome light spread for a 90cm x 50cm area :-)
