Hello all - a few weeks have passed since chopping these two fine ladies, they dried over about 12 days with an RH as close to 58/60% and temps in the high teens. Now they are sealed in their grove bags for a few months - but I took a handful of each in to an every day jar so as not to open the seal before time.

first up the Acapulco. As mentioned she was made up of lots of little solid nuggets, and now she is nicely dry -the smoke is grand, uplifting head high, not rushy but high. The taste is that of pepper and wood, but with a floral bouquet coming through.
With the right space this plant could easily give over 200g of fine prime but with my limited space I am happy with what she gave.

solid little nugs covered in ickle crystals but she certainly packs a punch.
The pink Runtz was great, topped once and spread out over 6/8 main heads which were like spears. Dried and trimmed the buds are lovely with beautiful colours of pink and purple and bright orange.
the smell is that of a chemical sweet shop, pear drops etc…the taste is very smooth and sweet and sour on the smoke.
she did well giving a little shy of 200g of grove bag quality bud, very little lard to speak of.

Overall two lovely strains but very different. The Runtz really is feed and watch but the Acapulco could do with some work and she will no doubt provide!
cheers for watching
