AutoSeeds Summer 2023 Grow & Show

Harvesting all the OD children today. Already trimmed the fans and some budrot from the first AG… the green one. She was the more compact of the two and not so much spread out. Pretty sure the BR hit them all. Hoping it’s not too spread on them. Had about five spots in the first one.

This report will be in three stages. This one has a lemon/ burnt tranny fluid smell to it while trimming.

This one was taller and more spread out. Feels denser than #1. More of a sativa leaf structure. A sweeter aroma than the first… still lemony and tranny fluid but more in a floral side. Lost about 7g to the rot in this one… denser.

Got some help trimming from fancy. She’s a long hair muted calico/tabby. Her and her mother love to munch on the leaves!

Day 105 - Acapulco Gold,Rainbow Glue Day 95 harvested Pink Runtz


I turned the lights out for 2days or so and harvested the remaining plants. I am blown away by Acapulco Gold, all 3 plants in the 10 gallon pot were very big plants and Rainbow Glue had some decent size too. Pink Runtz was more of a smaller sized plant with smaller buds but compared to Rainbow Glue and Acapulco Gold but still good product.

I think i might buy some Acapulco Gold seeds from @Autoseeds.com , i have been looking for a sativa with huge buds that does not take 120+ days. Rainbow Glue is worth my money too but i am in the market for a sativa at the moment.

I found this dead branch in the middle of the clump of colas, poor branch, i looked around no signs of but rot anywhere!!

I feel these plants were finished enough but by looking at their pistils they seemed to want to keep going but i don't have time for all that lol

Never posted final pictures of the Autoseeds.Com 5x5’ grow that I harvested over a month ago so here are some pics from a few days before I cut them down.
The Pink Runtz in the middle grew big but ended up foxtailing quite a bit and so did the Pink Runtz in the back left corner. The Girl Scout Cookies did well in the front left corner and the Acapulco Gold in the back right corner turned out to be a heavyweight even though she grew directly next to the two of the biggest plants in the crop and was crowded throughout the grow. She would have definitely done better and grown larger if she had more room, light and TLC. Hard to manage a crop like this and expect to give all the plants what they need especially when they’re all locked in place.

Day 108

Gorilla Glue had some spots of rot on lower buds so I cut it all. Good strong plant otherwise. NY has had an insanely wet summer.

Totally forgot to do my harvest update for Acapulco Gold she yielded 147 grams one of my larger yielding plants lately. Buds are little airy but she did press rather well yielding around 18%. She had a citrusy earthy tone and the rosin is very hashy tasting. She pretty strong and sedative for a sativa no trouble sleeping with her

Girls scout cookies yielded 73 grams and dense sticky nugs decent rosin yield at 13-15% yield

One disadvantage scrogging with a metal grid is that the plants are pretty much locked in place and basically impossible to remove without cutting away all the branches from the main stock which doesn’t give me the option to move the plants around to take better pics.

Acapulco Golds D108

The 3 larger AG’s grew strong and produced some nice dense sticky colas and lots of them. They’re still drinking close to 10 gallons a day but I can tell they aren’t guzzling the water like they were just a week ago so I’m planning on chopping them down over the weekend. Wish I was able to remove the plants whole to take better pics but they’re locked in the grid pretty well and I’m forced to cut them up in pieces. The 2 plants in the 32x60” tent grew to roughly the same height but there are a couple different things I did to them. The pheno on the left is growing in a 2 gallon plastic grow bag filled with Cloud Coir coco perlite mix and the pheno on the right is growing in a 2 gallon plastic grow bag filled with Grodan Rockwool Chunks. I also pinned the main top down on the girl on the left with a bent coat hanger stake and also topped her early in veg. The pheno on the right only had her main top bent over and held down during veg with no topping. They both look like they produced well but I’m curious to see which one will yield the most. I’m thinking the girl on the right but as of now still hard to tell.

Acapulco Gold D123

The extra 160 watts of under canopy lighting I was burning during the last 4 weeks of flower really helped everything develop down below. The colas underneath are actually just as big and dense as the ones up top. Lol!

She definitely grew out of this 32x32x65” tent.
As you can see the colas are pushing out all 4 walls of the tent
