I have read the life cycle post before but am still wondering around what day to expect more vertical growth. Tomorrow will be day 30. The nl is about 18-20 inches tall but the BM is maybe 12 inches but a dense bush. If the BM does not shoot up it will shade itself to death.

Most reviews that I've read on BM say 7/8 weeks and most all say grow height low/short. Some autos just stay short imo. I've had one go 25+ inches with a sister just get 15 inches both same strain and from same seed pack. Just set it on something to get it's height even with the NL. I have 5 plants now with heights from 6 inches to 15 inches. I use small 2x2 cuts off a 2x4 piece of lumber, dvd/cd cases, or whatever you have to get it above the shade:stylez rasta smoke:

I need to combat the smell. Ideas I am just in the basment no tent or anything.

As for the smell, only real way to combat it is a enclosed grow space with a carbon filter. I pm'd you a link with info/pics an a cheap Ona bucket. hope it helps:stylez rasta smoke:

Bud sites all over the BM. Smells like a molding cheese actually. The NL is still recovering from nitro tox. It has bud sites as well. :thedogsbollocks:

Observation: My girls have had no vegetative upward growth in at least a week. Should I start to use bloom nutes on next water?

Hey Jesus, normally when mine stops vertical growth I give it a week of transition. So, instead of stopping N completely, cut the N in half of full strenth and use half of full strength P&K. Then the following weeks cut the N out and full strength PK. It helps them transition into it without them feeling like they hit a brick wall.

Yeah, you will want a small amount. The main point I was trying to make is don't switch to bloom all at once, transition it over adding half bloom and half grow during the transition week.
