New Grower Blue Mystic from Nirvana and Northern Lights from rqs. Noobie grow.

Mail order or store bought? What store and how much? How well does it work really?

Day 36 update. Nl still the same. Seems to have gone dormant. Still clawed from hell at the top. Wondering if I should lop off the clawed top. Flushed it with 6 gallons of water last sunday.

Blue Mystic is coming slong still bushy not much height. Flowers are forming all over.

Couple of pictures of BM #2 and #3 as well. I think they are at 3 weeks or so. :tiphat:

Threw in some epsom salt to deal with a cal/mag issue.

Please any advice on the NL is very much appreciated. View attachment 276995View attachment 276997View attachment 276998View attachment 276999View attachment 277001View attachment 277007View attachment 277015

TJ, that's a bummer about the NL still clawing. I figure N tox would have remedied itself by now after the flushing. Don't give up hope, she'll turn around. You have some nice buds already for 35 days. My largest NL auto is 35 days and it is a veg monster. I would prolly continue with just water until you see and improvement.

Yes Str8 is absolutely correct. Dont top it, it will just stress it more. Keep watering and don't add any more N.

How long ago has that been, what are your temps and RH?

Hello Jesus,

Nice report so far.

My RQS Northen Light & Royal Critical are day 7 into soil. AF of course, first grow of this kind. My neighbour had surprisingly good results with 4 x NL AF, 288 g on the first grow under 250 HID. When I saw his results I had switched off photoplants.

AF have some characteristics different from photo plants. They need less nutrients, some growers report that streching helps to get better yield, I remember you being afraid of streching at the beginning.

I am recently observing NL and Think Different flowering in my neighbourhood and they look very, very strange. NL has dropped almost all leaves but is full of thick buds. I have not seen creatures like that before.
Think Different has many branches all the same height and is full of buds. Comparing to photo plants both look poor and unhealthy if we ignore big buds on them. But believe me, it is hard to ignore them.

Your NL plant might have light/heat stress combined with overfeeding. NL is quite high plant, maybe the top was to close to HID? Or not, you would know better.

What do you mean with dormant? Stopped growing?
