New Grower Cannabis Club Smoke-Off - Need Suggestions & Advice

The Amnesia is from World of Seeds. Got them from Jim. I've also got Night Shade from Barneys and like that even better.

The OG Kush x C99 sounds nice. Seems to have set a high bar for the rest of your samples. Sure does sound like fun. All the things you've got to smoke got me to thinking. I've got 8 strains, a friend gave me 2 to sample, another friend is giving me one, and we've made 3 batches of hash. Plus I've got 3 new auto stains about finished, so I've got 13 things to sample myself with 3 more to come. LOL, the Mrs. told me she might have to send me to rehab by the time I get my harvest in.

Where did you get the beans for the Amnesia? It sounds like fun.

It threatened rain here all day but never did. I was going to put the finishing touches to my Summer car garage but I was too stoned to do anything but hang around and watch old movies on the tube and make typos on the computer. My turn to make supper. It will be porcupine meatballs and mashed potatoes maybe some veg.

Damn having to smoke those strong Indicas in the morning.

Where the hell you gonna grow them all next year if you don't grow them outside. Boy if only we could get a half dozen more of us old experiences guys who all agreed to grow the same thing then we could have our own on line annual on line smoke off. We could all write reviews of the same pot. I wonder how much different growing styles, growing media, light type. nutes would effect the outcome? Thanks for the seed info. Are you going to grow both Night Shade and Amnesia next year?

I'll be growing in the new hydro setup by, I hope, January. All except the Afghani were from fem seeds but I still have more of them all. I'm hoping to get 2-3 from this year's crop that I really like. Then I'll grow some for mothers. I'm thinking of keeping 4 mothers, all similar, so I can grow them in the same hydro setup. I've got to smoke on the Amnesia some more but so far I'll grow the Night Shade and probably Pineapplegum or Pineapple Chunk.

Ya, an on line smoke off would be fun but it would be hard to get enough people to participate. Everyone has their favorites they like to grow.

Why don't we make a pole type post and sugest half a dozen or more differemt types of pot. That way the members could vote. We just agree to grow the two winners. Grow it inside or out in what ever medium and nuits the members want to use. Seeing this is an autosite we could stick to autos. Kind of different from government as we would be doing it like it was democracy. We could take a half dozen people who want to participate in the grow and opinions and a couple of subs in case they all don't want to participate. Or just accept everyone who wants to participate. If someone doesen't want to grow the two types of pot we all vote on they don't have to participate. We agree to have our results in by next November. You can do all the work with the tabulation your good at that sort of thing.

Just a little update to thie first test pot. O G Kush X Cinderella. When I wrote this I was wicked stoned. I am still stoned and it is 7:10 Eastern Standard Time and I am still high mind you I came down a lot. I have never had an Indica stone last so long. Makes me wonder if it really is very much of an indica maybe more sativa.

Cinderella has Jack Herer in her genes so that may be why you are relating it to a sativa buzz. Sounds like a killer combination though, keep us posted on the other 16

I hated giving the first one I tested such high marks but hell what could I do it totally earned it. I think it was one of the ten best pots I have ever smoked. I have to work tomorrow morning at a part time job I have. I won't be testing until the afternoon. Tomorrows test pot is Kandy X Humbolt County. I don't know what to expect. the only Humbolt I know is a type of nuits. Do you know anything about it?

I have heard of a photo strain called "Yumboldt" by Sagarmatha which is indica dominant, that some people also call Humbolt County, but the genetics on that cross are kept secret. I think they have made it into an auto recently http://weed360.co.uk/the-automatic-humboldt/

Hey thanks for the information. The breeder of this Kandy X Humboldt lists the parentage as being: Female Kandy Kush out of O G Kush and Trainwreck Male being Humboldt County which is Blueberry and White Widow. How bad can that be? I will be back from my job at 3 this afternoon. I will round up mt wife and share it with her so I can get her opinion also. Why is it every time i smoke O G Kush I get my ass kicked. Yesterdays road test had O G Kush in it as well. It is a hard job I do road testing this stuff but someone has to do it.

That does sound like a killer combo. I've grown Trainwreck and it's a great strain, very potent on it's own. Ya, you've got a tough job there, having to smoke all those great strains. :smoke:
