Day 45, I cant believe how big these buds have grown in just one week its incredible. :jaw: Shs also taking up so much water everyday, almost 5 litres.

DD day 49 , I think I see some slight purple coming on

All your plants just look so healthy....I will run, screaming in the streets if one of my Dark Devils comes out even half as nice....wow.

Hey Trapper cheers for your comments man, I can honestly say i owe it all to canna lol. There soil is amazing out of the bag, I dont mix anything in just pour it in the pot. There nutes are obviously good, I use the terra range and all 4 additives with cal mag. A rhizotonic mixture(PH THIS IT COMES OUT MIXED AT 10.5) in a spray bottle is how its watered for the first week. Each bottle made lasts 2 days then you need a new one. That and watering, until they are in bud let them dry right out, its scary how dry you can get them before they wilt. I will qualify this by saying this is only a reccommendation about canna, I havent ever used other nutes or soil. They were suggested and used by my local hydro store owner, so thats what i used and have never looked back .

My plants are 13 days behind your mahoosively monstrous DDs. Like trapper said, if theyre half as good ill be happy as a kid at christmas!! lol. Have you not had any PH issues? Im using everything Canna but PH has been under 6 f ages.
Added some Dolomite Lime the other day t hopefully sort it out. Through all there issues though theyve been growing okay though it seems. What height is your bad boy?

Hey Chandy, thankyou I am very proud lol. No p.h. issues at all. When they are seedling the rhizo mix is usually about 5.7 Then when i water its 6.0 all the way through veg, nutes as well. Flowering 6.1 - 6.3. I dont add anything to the soil at all and have never had an issue. She stands about 65cm, she was LST'd pretty hard and i guess this took at least 15cm from her final height.

Thanks Jay, yeah she is a very vigorus plant, only 49 days old last photo lol]
I now know where ive been going wrong!! I assumed from my research and was also advised that i should be keeping PH at 6.4-6.5ish as with normal soil but apparently is not the case with canna terra. I looked everywhere f this info when i noticed the nutes said t PH at 5.8-6.2 but never found it..... until i saw your hefty beast of a plant!!!! Ive already put dolomite lime in my soil now but im hoping it just wont work and my plants will be ok!!!! lol.

How is lime not going to work? It does what it does, it raises and stabilizes around 7. I can really sypathize, I'm just about dialing in my ph, which some find easy, I found very hard, but my plants have never looked better.
That is just MY situation however. I really am no expert but I've learnt that very few grow environments are the same. YOUR water ph, soil, light, humidity etc etc ALL the variables will be different from mine and most others. Soil ph is important, that's all I can say. Read your plants, sometimes a step back and re-evalutation is needed. I've learnt quickly that a higher ph in soil (6.5-7.0) is better than lower (6.0-5.5), lime will keep things in check if your too low I believe, well it's worked for me.
Just my opinion,
Karma to your plants, I'm sure you will crack it.
