New Grower First Grow - 4 Different Auto Strains in Coco

Day 72: Forum Stomper (72 days old), White Crack (72), and Fugue State (67) all had some amber trichs, so I went ahead and harvested them. Ideally I'd not have harvested all colas at once, but I saw yield was going to be fine and wanted to get this run over with. Sour Crack (70) wasn't finished, so it's still in the tent.

I trimmed wet and hung everything without weighing.

Day 75: Harvested Sour Crack (73 days old). This harvest was underwhelming compared to the others. A lot of the buds seemed underdeveloped, so I threw them in the trim bag and only hung the tops of the best colas.

Here's the dry ice hash resulting from the trim:

160 micron bag... Next time I will use 120.

Day 78: It's pretty much over. I'll clean everything up, take a break, and time another harvest for either before or after Christmas. I'll come back with a combined dry yield once the buds are all done with the paper bags and are ready for jars.

How did you collect it? Forgive me I'm new to this shit but do you literally mean you used dry ice or is that an expression

Yeah, plant trim with chipped up dry ice in a bucket, then once it's well-mixed, you shake out the kief through a bubble/ice hash bag. I followed the following guide pretty much exactly, except I didn't bother grinding anything up and just used whole trim (big leaves, parts of sugar leaves, and stems): https://www.growweedeasy.com/dry-ice-hash

Worked really well I'd say. It's quite the thing just before bedtime.

Nice job, Exivious! I missed this post. Those plants had so many trichs no wonder you got that much hash back. Congrats!

Day 90: Jarred everything. I filled up 5 quart jars.

Day 95: Now everything is just curing. Yields were modest, but that was to be expected due to a rough childhood (before I got a pH meter) and not nearly enough room in a 32x32" tent for 4 adult plants. Quality is good, though. Only Sour Crack failed to really reach its smoke quality potential I think. It's just not as potent--fine bong fodder, though.

Final yield after all trimming, drying, and stem removal:

Total               196 g

Compensating for what I smoked early? I'm going to say ~230 g total. So I'm a bit under a gram per watt (266 watts of lighting, plus another 20-80 watts for other electronics depending on the part of the cycle), but will easily surpass it next time when I have two plants and a net.

Changes for next time:

Half as many plants.
A quarter as many strains.
Perlite mixed in with the coco.
Net.
Once I run out of GH Micro, I'll switch to Foliage-Pro.

Thanks to everyone who chipped in to help with advice or encouragement! I think things went pretty well. The results are certainly plenty for me. I'll be starting the next batch in a couple weeks--from the changes listed above, it should be low maintenance and simple compared to my first run.
