New Grower First Grow Plan for White and Red dwarf and either Deimos or Syrup

Advice Please

Day 7
83F 60RH
¾ cup water
½ tsp for 2.5 gallonRapid start
Plant has a moresignificant lean. I assumed it washeading at the light. I very gently pressed against the plant and the base ofthe stem slightly lifted from the soil (seemingly lifting the roots ever soslightly). The second fan leaf is scrunched up. I thought it was just unfoldingits self. Should I be worried?

Try and get her directly under your light so she will straighten up.What kind of light are you using?

8x 23 watt 1,600 lumen 5k cfl. The lights are directly over the top, and the other set of strip of cfls is a little lower but parallel to the other strip. It seems like its top heavy and roots are not strongly anchoring it down lol. Two days ago the thing was straight up as an arrow. Then yesterday its slanted slightly so i turned the pot opposite of the lean. This morning it was leaning more in the same leaning angle it was, like it was falling. So i just slightly pushed it the other direction. That when i noticed the base move, like it was lifting the plant and root; this was a very little bit of movement. It all moved plant root everything. My thread has everything I have done this far, this morning was the first day of the root supplement. I hope this helps.

:peace:panic i would make sure its under the light center make sure your fan is not blowing it over and build some soil up around its base just in case.
do all you can to keep it alive, i know you are it will catch and grow the root enhancer they love its a neccisity really:smokebuds:

I ve read some online stuff. I think its reaching and too top heavy for the small amount of roots it has. So pretty much exactly what you said. I going to fortify it with more dirt and i think ill be all right. When i put the soil into the pot i didn't pack it down like at all... im wondering if i should have packed it down a bit. I think ill be all right. This specific plant is really a learning tool anyway. Thanks everyone for looking at it.

I have done the build up thing with two of my plants now. Seems to work great, they are both nice and big now. It was BK and one of the BDMs.
I have to agree with Rp365, the root stuff seems to have made all the difference for me, (Ya, listen to me, the guy that has 4 plants and been growing for all of 5-6 weeks now :dance2:) but seriously, the Rock supercharer helped me out.

I wonder... you arent overwatering early on are you? looks like a bit of overly wet soil... which will make roots do that frustrating stuff..

:tip:

i too, have used the mounding with great success. :gthumb:

Thanks again everyone. JM i doubt ive been over watering. I usually water every other day and i ve never give more than 3/4 of a cup. I take the picture after i water so i have a visual reference when and what day it happened.

I used some topsoil to build up/ correct the position. The stem is straight north and south. Im pretty confident it was not leaning at the light. anyway

Day 7.5
78 F 55RH
NO NO
fixed the lean with topsoil. Leaves are looking good. No sign of stress from the situation.

Panic I am going to guess that you have a little stretch going on how from far cfls to plant. You can get cfls fairly close I always have you don't any to burn but get the max out of your light as well. All you can do is mound her up until she gets a little stronger your still ok by a long ways prace

It is always less then 4". If its hot outside (which it has been the last couple days.) This forces me to back the light away so i can ensure the temp stays below a max of 85F. It was funny I didn't think to just add soil. dumb dumb dumb dumb....dumb, but everything is alright.
