Straight and vertical. Moisture is still visible on the surface. 2nd fan leaf is still slightly scrunched. One of the embryonic leaves has almost set. Still trying to ditch the shell.
I realized i didn't post any pictures of the setup. just for other people to see
I have been looking at pictures of seedlings and the embryonic leaves seem to come out first followed by the Fan leaves? Mine is doing it in the reverse order. Is that common? I also removed the shell it was just kinda sitting on top of one of the embryonic leaves. I also gave the plant the recommended normal dose of GH Rapid start (1tsp for 5gal). Can the rapid start burn the plant?
If you can get your RH up that would be much better. As the younger plants don't have a great root system in place yet they get a lot of their water from the air. At that early of a stage 70% is good. A wet towel hanging in the area will provide a lot of humidity to the air if you don't have a humidifier.
Day 9
71F 45RH
First fan leaf grew a little bit. Adding towel, and misting. My plant might be genetically challenged, and doing its own thing.
Lady Bug standing ever vigilant.
Day 9 (update)
81F 68RH (Wet towel works)
A little hot, but the humidity is more on the moisture side.
That is the internal embryonic materials, that are kind of sticking the embryonic leaves together. Is that good bad or ugly? I ll get a better picture so we can all see it.
Panic I have had the membrane be sub born like this before I helped both times killed one the other lived the next time I'll just let it go and see how nature does I know it's hard to watch it want to be free but not but those leaves are so fragile it's so easy to damage them
