Okay I started my first grow ever, after doing a little research online here are the supplies I decided to use:

- Two +Speed Autoflowering Feminized seeds from Sweet Seeds
- Fox Farms Ocean Forest Soil mixed with Purlite and Peat Moss
- Fox Farms Trio Nutrients
- 180 watts of CFL lighting. 5000k and 6500k bulbs for Veg cycle and 2700k for Flower cycle.
- Box fan and vents for circulation
- Reflective sheeting
- pH balanced water
- Digital Thermometer with Humidity

My grow space in a walk-in closet.

JUST PLANTED 3/13 @ 10 AM

The only concern I have right now is the humidity is pretty low around 30%. From what I've read online, it should be around 50-60%. How can I raise the humidity?

Advice Appreciated! Thanks!

Hi mate welcome to the world of ganj! Lol first off i hope u can make ur grow space bigger? Lol looks abit snug in there! With the humidity maybe leave some water open in the room or mist the room with water? Dont spray ur bulbs tho baaad idea lol maybe even a damp towel in there? Basically anything to add moisture to the air mate will do it whats ur temperatures?

You should watch your soil ocean forest soil is a little hot for seedlings . Don't over water a few ounces for fist 8 to 10 ten days . Make sure your soil is dry before you water again. Keep your temps as close to 79 deg. F as you can and you should be fine. Welcome and good luck. Green karma sent your way. Ps. Don't be afraid to ask questions somebody will answer them. Peace

I'm sitting at 77 degrees right now, but it's been up to ranging from 75-79 degrees F. The shelf the pots are on right now is only temporary for the early vegging. I will move the lights and pots on the ground of the closet and change the set up around once the grow more. One of the seeds has started to sprout up out of the soil.

Fair play yea try a damp towel but try n do it with warm water or the temps might drop a bit let me know how it goes bud

Day 3 They have sprouted up!

Here's S#1

Here is S#2 which hasn't quite sprouted up as much as the other seed. This guy sprouted with the seed still attached on top so I waited a day then gently removed it. Seems like it didn't mess with it too much.

Day 3 S#2.jpg

Temperature is hovering around 79-81 and I got the Humidity up to 45%

Here's Day 6 of S#1

I'm still giving them a 24 hour light cycle and just pH water every few days when the soil is dry. Do you think that I should change my light cycle to a 20/4 or 18/6 cycle? The plants seem fine with 24 hour cycle.

Thanks :toke:

You can leave them under 24hour cycle for first few weeks, then i would change to a 20/4 cycle seems the 4 hours of rest is good for them. Good Luck and Good growing karma sent your way man.

Everything looks pretty good right now. I'm about to move the set up to the ground of the closet space sometime this week so they have more space.
