@baj yeah the plants are doing great under the viparspectra so far. I fed my plants some calmag and they seem to be doing okay 2 days later, they actually look a bit better.
i think the paranoia is starting to wear off.

How close is your light?

Its difficult to see with your LED on. Could be light bleaching. Is the effected area close to lights?
18" with your LED, from what I have witnessed should be okay. See if 20" is better I guess.
