Well it's finally happening!! :smoke:
I am finally starting a photoperiod grow!
A few things iv changed this time round with compost and nutes and a nice upgrade that I'll go into more later on. Also this grow will fingers crossed be a Scrog! :smoke:

So germed these girls last week and 2 of the Blue Widows sprouted tails in less than 24 hrs!!! Crazy germ time... Anyway the big one on top right is the Blue Hash witch is a couple of days ahead of the others!

Ok on this grow the compost iv decided to go with after a lot of research is... J. Arthur Bowers multi purpose compost with added Jhon Innes and nutes I will be using are Plant Magic organic grow / bloom and plant magic Granuels which is a root beneficial or something :smoke: may get there Catalyst yet but not sure I'll need it.
And also iv upgraded my reflector to a Parabolic which I'm waiting to come back in stock! So I'm very excited about this adventure as iv seen some outstanding results from these products! :smoke:

Highly recommended for tents and any growing environment where heat is an issue, Parabolic Grow Lights are one of our best selling grow lights.

In a standard reflector the lamp is mounted horizontally with the light and heat being directed downwards to the area directly beneath the reflector. With a Parabolic, the lamp is mounted vertically allowing heat to be directed away from the plants.

This means that when large areas of soil are being covered, the plants are under less heat stress. It also means that the soil stays fresher for longer and reduces the chance of a nutrient imbalance in the later life of the plant.

When combined with a 600W Compact ballast this kit is a very affordable way to provide light for a square metre of floor space, or even a slightly larger area.

The Parabolic Grow Light packages below all come with a Maxibright Compact ballast and a Sunmaster Dual Spectrum lamp, but it can also (with the addition of a kettle lead) be combined with a CFL thanks the vertical mounting.

This reflector is available in two sizes – medium (80cm) which is available with 250W, 400W and 600W HID lamps, or the large (100cm) size available with 600W or 1000W lamps.

If you are looking to reduce the heat of growing environment then using a Parabolic reflector and a digital ballast will definitely help.

Nice reflector and nutes mate. Iv read quite a bit about the old timer range and the granules and was impressed.good luck with your grow :smokebuds:
