Great Lakes Genetics Has Horrible Customer Service. Anyone else having issues with this company?

Would it be possible to invite them here to try to diffuse the situation? Would that be throwing rocks at a hornets nest? The "win" here is you getting your seeds and hopefully them learning something this as well.

I can related a bit with my recent experiences with the Xenforo devs; but I don't think they learned any lessons (and they never once apologized.)

I made a post that I copied several sentences that basically demanded I send him another order of the same packs. When we both knew that 1 item was a clearance pack and was the only 1 and he bought the last pack of Avenue of the Giants. So there is no way I could tell him I could resend those packs.
In a later email I told him I was already sending @twenty20 a message to see about a restock.
 
I thought I had this worked out . But I think this just made the situation worse. I appreciate you trying to help.

Apparently they are going on a rant on there forum. Because they are mad that i made a post about them. I have never seen a supposed reputable seedbank act the way they are. Since they want to post our emails on the other forum i am leaving this thread up. OUR private Emails i might add....

I asked you to send an email to sales@greatlakesgenetics.com.
I personally sent you a message from there today at 11:30 AM eastern time.
If you have not got it, please check your spam file. We are working on your order.

On the 12th you sent a email asking if we had any updates on your order. On the 12th at 11 am Dave returned your message. He said he would be going to the post office later on that day and would check with them. On the 13th at 11:45 Dave sent you a message that he had asked the post office to check into the package.

Then you sent one message on the 14th, 2 Messages on the 16th and a message on the 20th. Please bear in mind that the 17th and 18th , was Saturday and Sunday and the 19th wasMartin Luther King Day.

We have asked the post office to put a search out for it. And we will keep you posted.

But between Christmas,New Year’s and then the long weekend with Martin Luther King’s day. It is a time of the year that they get behind.

And on your order.
You sent an email today that says
“ I don’t understand why you’re making it so difficult to get what I paid for”

“ I didn’t make a mistake. I made an online purchase and you’re not being very helpful.”

“ I just want what I paid for”

When in reality you purchased a $100 pack on clearance for $25. And you know that we sold out of them.
And you know we are sold out of the other pack that was a normal stocked item.

So even if it was deemed that your package was lost. I do not have the other items in stock to offer you.

At this time, I actually think we should give it at least another week.

I have sent for an order form from 2020 to see if I can restock the sold out item.
But on the clearance item, I have nothing to offer you. In that case I would offer you a refund after I have determined that the package has taken too long.

I appreciate you making the effort to make things right.

I understand that shipping issues happen.

I don't like drama believe it or not.
I would be happy with a store credit and picking out a different pack.

I was inquiring about what happens if my order doesn't show up and where do we go from here? How much time do you normally wait before a package is considered lost or whatever. Ect.

But unfortunately as you stated somehow the communication has broken down. But that happens, this is life. And we can move on from this. Shit happens. So i am fine with waiting another week and if it doesn't come we can go from there.
