I have outdoor experience but I am looking to step my game up and grow indoor year round. I am running a 3'x3'x73" tent with a Diamond Series XML350 with two Xen-Lux 4" inline fans for my intake and outake, pushing approximately 190 cfm. Both of them with stepless speed controllers. I got a couple of free Autos from CH9 Seeds and they're climax auto that i really want to try. My main question to anyone who is willing to read and answer is, what grow medium do autos thrive in the best? DWC? Soil? This is the last thing I need to get together that genuinely has me perplexed on what to do. Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Welcome to AFN.If your new to autos I would start with a soil mix.Promix is used by a lot of growers and is one of the better mixes.Check our threads on soil and nutes and this will give more info on the best mix to use.

I would use soil, and do use soil. Easier to maintain and more forgiving if you make a mistake. Organics... Gotta be :-)

Auto's do really well in soil too

Good Morning and WELCOME to AFN .....:tiphat:......where the pro's are your bro's!!!!

Hello m10, I would say soil also, but once you got the hang of indoor tents, then it won't cost much to upgrade to DWC if you wanna go that route.
Keep in touch and let us know how you go.

Hi M10... :styles rasta:to AFN!

We use soil...Let us know what you decide...in a grow log.

Welcome to the site. I also say start with soil. And Promix BX or HP is a great mix. Depending on your area, you may be able to find it at a local nursery. Take care.

Thank you I will definitely do that! And more than likely start them in soil it seems pretty unanimous across the board.

And I will be trying to keep updated pictures as things come along. Just waiting on UPS at this point. Should be up and running in a week or two
