Hey guys! Stumbled across this website while reading through some information on AF stuff. First just let me say that I have been wanting to grow for a LONG time. Until very recently it hasn't been an option due to not having an adequate area to grow in. (Not that I don't have the space, I just have kids..and cats) Now that I've got a spot I'm finally ready to give it a shot. Would much rather grow than buy! I have spent a great deal of time over the last year researching and looking for information on how to have a successful cannabis grow. I decided that growing autoflower plants would be best for my first go around as I need to keep the plants relatively small and would like some bud ASAP. This place seems to be a great source of more detailed information than I could find just looking around at random places on the web.

Anyways, ordering seeds today! Probably going to go with the Blue Mystic from Nirvana. It's nice to meet you all

Thanks for the welcomes! I will definitely check that journal thing out. My wife has a nice DLSR camera I'm going to put to use.

I actually learned about them while researching. I found them fairly fast. The first thing I actually read about them was that if possible one should shy away from AFs because they generally yield less. That wasn't much of a deterrent for me because of the grow spaces I was considering at the time. I had originally planned to go with a photosensitive plant but now that I'm about to start I find AFs will suit my needs better. I found out a relative of mine grows AF exclusively and after smoking his stuff I had no doubts.

That's cool.

That means that the popularity of AF's is growing. Two years ago, you would have been seeing mostly stuff about Photosensitive plants.

Andd just for giggles, after you look around a bit, check out some of the senior memebers grows.

Tang and Mr. Ganjamoto and some others have grown HUGE plants that are of the Auto Flowering variety
