Sod it... I've given them the fresh res... yikes!!... I hope I don't go home tonite to find my leaves warped & twisted.. If they are... I don't care what anybody thinks... I'm gonna cry.. .. No not that type of cry..

Seriously though I hope they will be ok... After using a bluelab ph meter, I kinda dubious about using anything else... Let alone a cheap one that's WELL past it's sell by date..

The ladies seem really happy at the mo.. Growing quite a bit.. Green & roots. Bud sites are forming everywhere on them if only I hadn't hurt them earlier in the grow I could of had 2 monsters to deal with now!! Oh well... what I have learned in this grow will prove very useful in the future.

I'm gonna switch them on to flowering nutes after the weekend.. So things should be getting interesting from here on in

I think upward growth may be slowing, or I've stunted them again, they look nice & healthy at the mo.. Not much more to report really...

Ok... Day 37...

I hav'nt posted for a few days now... It kinda busy being a hands on daddy, husband, full time employee & novice horticulturalist... (Also my plants look pretty crap so im not overly keen to show them off) lolz...But anyways....

I have started my lady's on their bloom nutes this week...

Cannazym
Silica
Superthrive
Sensi cal/mag
Superior potash
Carbo load
Ionic bloom

EC 1.3 (650 ppm)
pH 5.8-5.9

Now it seems that I've had a calcium def
again.. So I've given each bucket about 10ml of sensi cal/mag bloom... It seems like I need a bit more than the 6ml Seymour had advised due to my background EC being .1.
This hydro lark can be very punishing if you take your eye of the ball at all... Hmm... I can see soil & muck in my future!! ha ha

So as you can see my girls are pretty pathetic looking compared to others on here... But what else was gonna happen to a complete noob in DWC with zero experience?
But I have to say I'm really happy that my girls are still alive & budding despite my abuse to them.
Talking about abuse... I'm a tool... I sprayed my plants the other night with some Epsom salts... But instead of mixing up 1 tablespoon salts to 2 pints of water... I mix up 2 tablespoons of salts to 1 pint of water... I'm an idiot... I know Lolz, so yeah far too concentrated.

Anyway thanks for all comments & advice I have been given from you guys... It has really helped me.

Turn off your lights when you take pictures.The ones I can see look good,flower nutes will get them going in the right direction.

Ok namvet... I'll do that ... Don't get me wrong folks I love my little ladies... It's just that I have stunted them & that's why I said they look pathetic.... Still good for a 1st timer?.. No?

Oh I forgot to mention in the update that they are both producing trichs around their flower sites. The flowers seems to be growing in quite quickly with these autos.... Then again I've only ever really seen friends grows which have all been photoperiod strains... Man after growing autos a photo grow must feel really slow... My m8 is flowering his wappas, laughing Buddhas & a NL x bigbud at the moment & compared to my little 'think diffs' flowering speed his don't seem to be moving at all...

I think a photo grow then an auto grow then a photo grow & so on could be a good idea.. Sadly I doubt the harvest from my present think diff grow will keep me going 16 days never mind 16 wks

Quite a nice plant going there man :] The first grow is always the hardest. I can guarantee that you'll get a pretty fat yield from your next grow :]
To be honest you've done really well. Starting growing isn't easy, starting on hydro is even harder!

And from those lists, shit I can't choose. Monster sounds nice but I don't know a lot about it :]

Hey Kush Dog you will be surprised how much good smoke you get off of this run. Just chalk it up as a lesson learning run, next time will be several times better. I admire you for not giving up and continuing your journal mate. Best of luck on the final phase. KG
