Lighting Help me light up my tent...

Hey boys and girls.

I have a tent that is 120cmx60cm and 170cm in height. 47.3 inches x 23.6inches and 66.9 inches in height....

In this tent i will grow from seed, veg my girls and boys and then flower out seeded plants.

I wanna use cfl or some kind of t5 but here is where my problems start...

I just cant find one single t5-system that fits good in my tent... i can only find 2 feet (wich i think is to small) and 4-feet (wich is like 2cm to big...)

So i need some help with what iu shall put in my tent to light ALL of it up in an even way and to a good price.

I would love if the system is availble in Europe so the shipping dosent have to be a bloody robbery... i live in sweden....if that helps...

Hi Justin, Have you considered a 300 watt LED panel? With a couple of CFL bulbs for edge lighting, you could grow respectibly with a full sprecrum in that tent. It'd likely exceed the light intensity and penetration of any CFLs that'd fit and heat would be manageable. I have used a 240 watt LED in a 2.75 x 3.5 foot closet, with respectable results. Very best to you on your grow!

I would go with several 2ft T-5s and arrange them to fit your needs. The one thing that I have learned about growing is that you have to adapt everything to your situation and specific needs. :Sharing One:

I was thinking something like that to...but my tent is just under 2feetx4feet so in if im not thinking all wrong i would not be able to fit in more then one 2feet t5 with 4 bulbs leaving me with a big gap almost as big as the t5...maybe a few cfl bulds in that side of the tent?

They sell single 1 bulb units as well. They can be mounted on your tent poles (vertically) or hung. Each one comes with the hardware to hang it and link it up with others.
I've used these to fill dead spots in my tents. Currently I have 4 of them linked up and hanging as a 2ft/4 bulb unit. I would get a 2ft 4 bulb unit and use the singles to rig up some side-lighting. I would also re-check the dimensions of your area and look at the dimensions of some of the 4ft units.

The one above is a 4ft 4 bulb BadBoy T5 and it coomes in under 4ft - Assembled Fixture Dimensions: 46.25in L x 12in W x 3.5in H..... Thats under 4ft

Wow, that is amazing. That will fit my tent like a glove.

Im really not that good with computers and searching online...lol i spent almost 4hours searching for a fixture that size but nope...lol

You could go with something like a 250w horizontal mounted CFL, I chekced quickly on Amazon UK and they have the bulbs and reflectors. I know it won't physically utilize your whole space but the light footprint should be adequate. All the best whichever way you go.
